Quarterback
Kyle Boller suffered an foot/ankle injury during the game Sunday night, and had to be helped off the field. Anthony Wright took over for the hobbled player. The severity of the injury is being determined, but it didn't look minor in the moments after the injury. After the game, Coach Billick characterized the injury as "severe turf toe" on the right foot. Boller said the injury was concerning because the injury happened on his "plant foot" - there is no timetable for Boller's return at this point.
Garcia missed the game on Sunday as expected (leg/ankle, out).
QB Rex Grossman missed the game on Sunday as expected, due to his ankle injury.
Matt Hasselbeck took a hard hit on his throwing arm shoulder on Seattle's last offensive play of the game, and came out of the game favoring his arm. The severity of the injury is not yet known.
Ramsey was clotheslined during the game on Sunday, and was knocked out of the game with what was later diagnosed as a neck strain -- no word as of Sunday night whether he'll play in next weeek's game.
Running Back
Anderson was forced out of the game vs. Miami due to severely bruised ribs. It is unclear what his status is for next week's game as of Sunday night.
Bettis missed the game on Sunday as expected, (calf, out on Friday).
Hodgins, the teams' starting FB, tore an ACL during the game vs. the Giants and is lost for the season. FB Obafemi Ayanbedejo stepped into Hodgins' role during the game and is the likely new starting FB in Arizona.
Lewis broke a finger on his left hand during the game on Sunday night, but does not expect the injury to keep him out of the team's next game vs. Tennessee.
Moore suffered a minor injury during a special teams play when he was leg-whipped. The player insisted the injury was "nothing" after the game.
Rhodes missed the game on Sunday due to a foot injury (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Although Ricard did not appear on the injury report, the Baltimore Sun indicated on Monday that his lack of playing time was due to the calf injury that limited Ricard during pre-season.
Richardson left the game vs. the Jets with what is currently being described as a mild knee sprain. The injury will be evaluated further as the week progresses.
Schlesinger missed the game on Sunday as expected (broken leg, out).
Staley missed the game on Sunday due to his injured/repaired knee, as expected (doubtful on Friday's injury report). Willie Parker gained over 200 yards in his first NFL start, and is expected to be the starter again next week, too.
Suggs missed the game on Sunday after being listed as doubtful on Friday (injured ankle).
Reserve RB Kenny Watson injured his arm during the game on Sunday. The severity of the injury isn't currently known, but he did not return to action.
Wide Receiver
Cribbs injured his knee during the game vs. Cleveland. The severity of the injury isn't known as of Sunday night.
Darling missed the game on Sunday night, as expected (quadriceps, out on Friday's injury report).
Ferguson was sidelined for chunks of the game vs. Detroit due to leg cramps. He figures to become a starter for the Packers now that Javon Walker is feared lost for the season.
Hakim aggravated his hamstring injury on Sunday and was forced to the sidelines. He has struggled to stay on the field during recent weeks due to the ongoing hamstring problem.
Hankton was inactive for the game on Sunday due to his ankle injury (out on Friday's injury report). He had surgery on the ankle last Friday, and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
Jackson missed the game on Sunday due to his injured Achilles tendon (he was listed as probable on Friday, but was inactive on Sunday).
Jacobs was listed as questionable on Friday due to a toe injury, and was inactive for the game vs. Chicago.
Chad Johnson was briefly sidelined by leg cramps during the game, but returned to action after receiving fluids intravenously.
Morton suffered a concussion during the game vs. the Rams. He expects to play next week, but concussions are tricky -- sometimes it takes days for the after-effects to show up. If you have Morton on your roster, check his status later in the week. Coach Nolan indicated after the game that he expects Morton back for next week's game.
Murphy was inactive on Sunday after being listed as probable on Friday's injury report (knee).
Parrish missed the game on Sunday as expected (out on Friday's injury report) due to his injured wrist.
Taylor was inactive on Sunday due to his injured groin (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Javon Walker landed awkwardly while making a catch in the game vs. Detroit and twisted his left leg. The severity of the injury looks very grave as of Sunday night, when coach Sherman revealed that Walker had an ACL injury -- it may be that Walker has played his last snap of 2005. He is definitely out for many weeks, at the minimum.
On Monday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the injury is a torn ACL (an MRI is scheduled to determine the full extent of the damage) and that Walker is lost for the season (up to 12 months). The team confirmed on Monday that surgery will be required after the swelling subsides, and an 8-12 month rehabilitation will then follow.
Tight End
Bruener sprained a toe in the game on Sunday -- the severity of the injury isn't currently known.
Clark missed the Sunday night game due to after-effects of a concussion (questionable on Friday's injury report).
Conwell was sidelined in the third quarter after he was sanwiched by 2 Panthers while going for the ball. He was helped off the field and didn't get back in the game. He definitely suffered a dislocated jaw, but seemed OK after the game. Conwell may have also suffered a slight concussion on the hit. His status will be updated later in the week.
Euhus missed the game on Sunday due to his injured shoulder (he was listed as out on Friday's injury report).
Heiden suffered neck stingers in the game vs. Cincinnati week 1. Once a player suffers from stingers they tend to recur -- the severity of the injury isn't clear as of Sunday night.
Johnson missed the game on Sunday due to his injured foot (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Meier was sidelined on Sunday due to his bad knee (out on Friday's injury report).
Mili was unable to play on Sunday due to his intestinal problems (doubtful on Friday's injury report). He was hospitalized earlier in the week with a blockage that needed to be corrected. The team expects him back in short order.
Shea was listed as questionable on Friday due to his injured shoulder, and was inactive for the game on Sunday.
Shockey tweaked his ankle during the game vs. Arizona - the injury is considered minor as of Sunday night.
Kicker
Hall strained his quadriceps muscle on his final kick of the game -- he may not be available for the Redskins' next game. The team refused to speculate when Hall would return. Said head trainer Bubba Tyer ""It's not good, We know from his history with it that it's not good." A similar injury ruined Halls' 2004 campaign.
PK Jason Hanson injured himself on a kickoff during the first half. Hanson visibly limped after grasping at the back of his leg after the kick. Thereafter, Hanson converted a short extra point and a very short (21-yard) field goal, but the team was clearly taking it easy with him during the game. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along -- Hanson owners will want to keep an eye on his status on the late-week injury reports issued by the NFL.
Offensive Line
Bill's RT Chris Vallarial hurt his right ankle during the game and did not return to action on Sunday. The injury is being evaluated further as of Monday afternoon.
G Matt Stinchcomb was unable to practice last week, and missed the game on Sunday after being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
C's Alex Stepanovich (hand, doubtful) and Nick Leckey (ankle, questionable) were both inactive for Sunday's game vs. the NYG.
The Chief's Pro Bowl LT Willie Roaf pulled a hamstring during the victory over the Jets, and may be unable to play in the next game.
RT Kareem McKenzie sprained his ankle during the game and did not return to action, although X-Rays revealed no damage. His injury will be evaluated further on Monday and through the week.
G Claude Terrell was inactive for the game on Sunday after being listed as probable on Friday's injury report (shin). RT Rex Tucker was knocked out of the game by a lower right leg injury in the 4th quarter, and refused to comment on the severity of the injury after the game "I'm really not going to talk about it till I find out exactly what it is" - there is speculation in the local press that Tucker may miss some time as a result of the injury.
T Adam Terry missed the game on Sunday due to an ankle injury (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
RT Jon Jansen, playing with a cast on his broken left thumb, broke his right thumb during the game this week. He's expected to play with both injuries next week.
T's Wayne Hunter (knee) and Floyd Womack (elbow) were both sidelined on Sunday due to their injuries (both were listed as out on Friday's injury report).
C Drew Hodgdon (toe/shoulder) was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, and missed the game on Sunday.
G Anthony Herrera was listed as out on Friday's injury report, and was inactive on Sunday due to a leg injury.
LT Bryant McKinnie suffered a left foot and ankle sprain on the Vikings' final offensive play, and was wearing a protective boot after the game. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
Defensive Line
Burns missed the game on Sunday as expected (knee, out).
Kris Jenkins twisted his knee during the game vs. New Orleans. He tried to return to action in the second half, but was unable to continue play. The injury will be evaluated further on Monday, when an MRI is scheduled. The team confirmed Monday afternoon that Jenkins tore the ACL in his right knee -- he's lost for the season.
Noble was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, and missed the game on Sunday due to his bad knee.
Olshansky sprained his right ankle during the game vs. Dallas. His status for next week's game isn't currently known.
Reagor was inactive on Sunday after being listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report (groin).
Sims was knocked out of the victory over the Jets with a foot injury. The severity of the injury is under evaluation at the current time.
Welsh missed the game on Sunday as expected (knee, out on Friday's injury report).
Williams missed some playing time on Sunday due to cramps. He should be ready to go again next week.
Linebacker
Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck suffered a calf strain when he tackled Steelers running back Willie Parker during the third quarter. He iced the injury on the sidelines after it occurred and after the game stated he didn't consider the injury a big problem. He'll be evaluated further as the week goes along.
Burnett missed the game on Sunday due to his injured knee (doubtful on Friday's injury report).
Clemons missed the game vs. Chicago on Sunday as expected (listed as out on Friday due to a hamstring injury).
Cowart was forced to the sidelines during the game on Sunday; first, for a stinger during the first half and then due to a calf cramp in the second half. He's expected to be ready for the teams' next game.
Crowell was inactive for the game on Sunday due to his injured groin (listed as questionable on Friday's injury report).
Darling, the backup MLB, bruised his knee during the game vs. NYG on Sunday and did not return to action. The severity of his injury is under evaluation as of Sunday night. On Monday, reports only indicated that the knee was bruised -- no further details are available. Watch his status and practice participation on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday if you are invested in Darling on your IDP squad.
Fincher missed the game on Sunday due to his injured hand (out on Friday's injury report).
