Week 3 Early Injury Report

Quarterback

QB Kyle Boller - BAL

Boller missed the game vs. Tennessee, as expected. He'll be out for several weeks due to his severe turf toe. The Baltimore Sun's Jamison Hensley reported on Monday that Boller may need surgery to repair his injured right toe. Boller stated that he didn't know anything yet when questioned. A second opinion has been scheduled with a foot specialist for later today. This week is Baltimore's bye week, so Boller will have some time to evaluate his options.

QB Rex Grossman - CHI

Grossman was out on Sunday due to his ankle/leg injury, as expected.

His status for this week's game is unclear as of Monday afternoon - the injury will be evaluated further as the week goes along but coach Mora sounds pretty optimistic: "My gut feeling is he will be OK," coach Jim Mora said Monday. "Knowing Mike, he doesn't like to not practice. He doesn't like to not be part of the plan."
