Omar finished out the season with a strong game against Toledo. Unfortunately the Falcons came up short in this double overtime thriller and lost the game 44-41. It has to have been a disappointing year for Omar, even thought the Falcons are in a 3-way tie for 1st place in the MAC East. His injury this year has affected his draft status, but with a strong combine Omar can climb back up the charts.

Young struggled against the Aggies defense and was outplayed by A&M freshmen QB Stephen McGee. The Longhorns had to play a full 60 minutes and it was two 4th quarter field goals that finally sealed the win. He had an off game versus the nations 162nd ranked defense and this really will put a dent in his chances of winning the Heisman Trophy. Young shrugs off the notion that he was uptight and nervous this last Saturday. Now Young gets to beat up on the CU Buffs in the Big 12 Championship game. We'll see if Vince can put together a great game to get back into serious Heisman contention.

DeAngelo finished out the regular season with his 33rd career 100 yard rushing day. This tied him with Tony Dorsett and Archie Griffin for the most career 100 yard games in NCAA history. Memphis is bowl eligible again and Williams will put on one last show for NFL scouts.

The Seminole offense was only able to muster 7 points against rival Florida. Leon Washington was back after missing a couple of games, but it was to no avail. He led the team in carries and rushing yards but is certainly not lighting it up by any means. Scouts will keep a careful eye on Washington at the combine as his draft stock just keeps sliding.

It was a rout for the Redhawks as they beat the Bobcats 38-7 and improved their season record to 7-4. Martin Nance had another big day receiving with another 100-yard game, his 7th of the season. He finishes the 2005 season with 81 catches for 1,107 yards (13.7 yards per catch) and 14 touchdowns. He ranks 10th nationally in yards receiving per game (100.7) and will be an intriguing prospect in a year where there aren't many great wideouts featured in the draft.

Derek and the Sun Devils had to rely on something other than the passing game to win against Arizona. Freshmen Rudy Carpenter, filling in for an injured Sam Keller, failed to throw for a touchdown pass and struggled against the Wildcat defense. When Carpenter was throwing it was Hagan who provided him with a consistent, reliable target.
