Here at Footballguys, we are all about providing the information that you need to dominate your fantasy football experience. One of the biggest phenomena in the past few years has been high-stakes fantasy football contests, so we decided to reach out to several of them this year to see what information they could provide to Footballguys to explain their contests in greater detail.

World Championship of Fantasy FootballThe World Championship of Fantasy Football is the longest running live, high stakes fantasy sports contest. Since its inception in 2002, the WCOFF has awarded over $6.5 million dollars to fantasy footballers participating in various live and online events. The WCOFF is a game of skill that offers the industry's largest guaranteed cash awards to participants. In early September each year, fantasy football owners gather in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Orlando or Dallas to participate in live drafts. |
Fantasy Football Players ChampionshipThe Fantasy Football Players Championship is a 12 team per league, high stakes contest with 168 entrants and a $75,000 grand prize. Founded by high stakes players, the format, rules, scoring, payouts and venue are all focused on Player needs. The entry fee is $1375 with two ways to play. We offer a live draft at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas or there is an Online Draft option as well. The FFPC will be the highest entry online draft in the High Stakes industry for 2008. We will also be the only contest offering a fully funded Attorney Escrow for prize safety. |
NBC Sports National Fantasy Football ChampionshipThe NBC Sports National Fantasy Football Championship is the industry's only multi-city, high-stakes event with two separate contests on the same day, featuring $100,000 grand prizes in each contest, $5,000 league prizes and a $1 million bonus. The NFFC Classic is a 14-team league format that is in its fifth season of competition, and the 12-team NFFC Primetime contest debuts this year in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago and Orlando. |

Fantasy Football Open ChampionshipThe Fantasy Football Open Championship will award the largest prize in Fantasy Football history. Players who emerge from their 10-team leagues will enter the playoffs to compete for the Championship. The top 15 finishers will win parts of $1.73 million. Payday SportsThe highest of stakes. We offer contests from $25 up to $10,000. Our high stakes leagues are $2,000, $5,000 and $10,000. Our leagues are not connected. Each league consists of only 12 teams. These are live drafts held in Atlantic City, Friday night, September 5, 2008 at 5 PM EST. We ask for no money down when signing up. 2 points per TE reception. 2 waivers per week. 13 week regular season. |
