RotoBowl: Fantasy Football Tournament of Champions

Description of Contest:

RotoBowl: Fantasy Football Tournament of Champions has teamed up with FHM Magazine to bring to you the most affordable live high-stakes fantasy football league in the country. Held at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut on Saturday, September 11, 2004, 504 teams will draft simultaneously in leagues of 12 and afterwards attend the exclusive FHM Magazine afterparty.

The entry fee for the league is $999, which includes a seat at the RotoBowl draft, complimentary food and liquor, and a pass to the FHM after party. If $999 is too pricey of a ticket, split a team with a co-owner - the co-owner is welcome to attend the draft and party with you. Teams will be competing for over $375,000 in cash and prizes, including a Grand Prize of $100,000 & fully paid trip for 2 to Super Bowl 39 in Jacksonville (trip includes airfare, hotel and game tickets courtesy of ProPerformance.com.) In addition to the Grand Prize, league prizes will be rewarded to the top 4 teams in each of the 42 leagues ($3100 prize to league champions.)

RotoBowl will utilize a league and playoff system that combines the proven structure of the NFL regular season with the unmatched excitement of the NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket. Each team will play a 16 game regular season, with added emphasis on conference games. A team only needs to best 5 teams in its conference to get to the league championship game that will determine who gets an entry into the postseason Tournament of Champions. The Tournament of Champions is a single elimination bracket-style tournament that will culminate in a head to head match up for the RotoBowl Grand Prize.

RotoBowl was organized with the thought of having an affordable high stakes fantasy football contest with minimal periphery costs and a presence of major national sponsors. With major sponsors such as FHM Magazine, Pro Performance and Steiner Sports, and Mohegan Sun Casino being only a car ride away from every major city in the Northeast, RotoBowl has everything the diehard fantasy football fan could wish for in a major fantasy football league.
