Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Footballguys view: The Packers have a short week since they play on Thursday night against the Lions. That doesn't mean much for Watson though as he's yet to play this season. He's closer to returning, but his status is up in the air for Week 4. |
Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Footballguys view: Jones is close to returning, but hamstring injuries can linger. He didn't play in Week 3, so even on a short week (Thursday night against the Lions) Jones might be out there. He's at least flex worthy if the veteran back plays in Week 4. |

C Frank Ragnow (toe) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report. The Lions did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.

Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (thigh) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 4. The Lions did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Footballguys view: The Lions play on Thursday night, and it looks like Montgomery will be out there against the Packers. If he does play in Week 4, we'll see how much Montgomery cuts into the touches for RB Jahmyr Gibbs. |

Indianapolis Colts DT DeForest Buckner (groin) and OG Quenton Nelson (toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27. CB Dallis Flowers (back) and C Ryan Kelly (concussion) fully participated in practice.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: In the protocol, Richardson will have to practice as he did on Wednesday and then go through testing to see how he responds the next day. We imagine Richardson should be able to play in Week 4 against the Rams. If he needs to miss more time, QB Gardner Minshew will start again. If Richardson plays, Fantasy GMs are likely to start him as the upside as a QB1 is always there when he's on the field. We just want to see Richardson get through a full game without getting banged up. |
Buffalo Bills OG Ryan Bates (ankle), DE Leonard Floyd (ankle), S Micah Hyde (hamstring), S Siran Neal (ankle) and S Jordan Poyer (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27. CB Taron Johnson (hip) was limited during practice.

Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Young missed last week's game against Seattle, and veteran QB Andy Dalton moved the offense effectively through the air (361 passing yards) in the loss. This week, it looks like the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft is going to be out there again. We'll see if he structures his targets differently after watching from the sidelines. Dalton made guys like WR Adam Thielen (11-145-1) and WR DJ Chark (4-86-1) viable fantasy plays. Young against the Vikings in Week 4 is only a wait-and-see option for Fantasy GMs - even in start-2QB/Superflex leagues. |
Carolina Panthers WR Jonathan Mingo (concussion) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyCarolina Panthers RB Miles Sanders (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Sanders' carries have gone down (18,14,9) each week this season. However, his work as a receiver out of the backfield keeps him involved in the offense. He's a talented back, but Sanders has been banged up with a pectoral injury that limited him last week and now a groin injury this week. Friday will be the big day to see if Sanders can practice as the team gets ready to take on the winless Vikings in Week 4. |
Miles Sanders player page
Carolina Panthers WR DJ Chark Jr. (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Chark is getting a day of rest here. Let's see what he can do on Friday, and Fantasy GMs also need to monitor the status of QB Bryce Young. If veteran backup QB Andy Dalton plays, that could mean more robust numbers for the passing game including guys like Chark. With Dalton slinging the rock in Week 3, Chark caught four passes for 86 yards and one touchdown. Dalton targeted Chark 11 times, while Young (in Week 2) targeted Chark just one time. |

Baltimore Ravens WRs Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) and Rashod Bateman (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Beckham was inactive for Week 3 against the Colts, but he could be limited on Friday and still be good to go for Week 4 against the Browns. Bateman played against the Colts, but he didn't do much (one catch, six yards) before this hamstring injury knocked him out of the contest. If Bateman and Beckham can't play in Week 4 (or are limited), that means more opportunity for rookie WR Zay Flowers (who we love) and veteran WR Nelson Agholor. |

Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) is a 'long shot' to play in Week 4, head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Jones hasn't played since Week 2, and it looks like he needs more time to heal. Without Jones, the Jaguars will lean more on Christian Kirk in the passing game. Kirk is worth considering at least as a flex play in Week 4 against the Falcons. |

Cleveland Browns OG Joel Bitonio (ankle, rest) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyCleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt (ribs, groin) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Well, that didn't take long. Hunt was signed off the free agent wire last week, and Fantasy GMs were wondering how he would cut into the workload for Jerome Ford. Now, Hunt is banged up so that just means more from Ford and perhaps some Pierre Strong in the Browns' backfield. |
Kareem Hunt player page
Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (concussion) will practice in full on Wednesday, Sept. 27, and if all goes well he will be cleared for Week 4, head coach Mike McDaniel said.
Footballguys view: Waddle missed last week's game against the Broncos, and the Dolphins scored 70 points. They're facing a much better-coached team this weekend against the Bills. Having Waddle back out there (most likely) is a boost for the league's best offense. |

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Young missed Week 3 so Andy Dalton got the start for the Panthers. This week, Young will test the ankle out in practice. We'll see what he can do by Friday. |
Free-agent P Brad Wing (Giants) was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Link to storyIndianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol, but he will take starter repetitions in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: In the protocol, Richardson will have to practice as he did on Wednesday and then go through testing to see how he responds the next day. We imagine Richardson should be able to play in Week 4 against the Rams. If he needs to miss more time, QB Gardner Minshew will start again.
