Atlanta Falcons WR Mack Hollins caught one pass for 23 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He was targeted four times during the game.

Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London caught two passes for 31 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He was targeted six times during the game.
Footballguys view: London got a play from behind game script to activate the passing game, but the Lions defense was outstanding in this one and limited everything the Falcons tried to do. London is going to be a boom/bust WR3/Flex play week-to-week until further notice, with the Jaguars up next. |
Atlanta Falcons TE Jonnu Smith caught five passes for 37 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught five passes for 41 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He was targeted nine times during the game.
Footballguys view: Pitts at least got nine targets and had a decent game vs. a defense that had been very generous opposing tight ends so far this year. The Falcons need to use his rare gifts to perk up a morose offense. He and the rest of the Falcons will try to get back on track against the Jaguars next week. |

Atlanta Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier rushed for 12 yards on seven carries against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He also caught two passes for 17 yards during the game.
Link to storyAtlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson rushed for 33 yards on 10 carries against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. He also caught four passes for 27 yards during the game.
Footballguys view: Robinson was miserable with the rest of the Falcons offense in a surprisingly slow day against a Lions defense that looked very vulnerable coming into this game. The Jaguars have been tough on the run so far this year, and that's who Robinson will get next week. |
Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder went 21-for-38 for 201 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Detroit Lions in Week 3.
Footballguys view: The Falcons needed more from Ridder in a game where they couldn't establish the run and they trailed for most of the contest. After a strong finish to Week 2, Ridder wilted against a defense that was easy for Geno Smith to solve without his starting tackles last week. Ridder was set up for a big fantasy game and didn't deliver, so it will be tough to trust him in superflex leagues next week despite a good matchup at Jacksonville. |
The Atlanta Falcons have declared CB Clark Phillips III, RB Cordarrelle Patterson, QB Logan Woodside, DL Albert Huggins, DE Joe Gaziano, OG Jovaughn Gwyn and OT Isaiah Prince inactive for Week 3.

Atlanta Falcons CB Jeff Okudah (foot) will participate in pregame warmups to determine if he can play in Week 3's game versus the Detroit Lions, according to a source. He had been listed as questionable on the injury report but was a full participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week.

Free-agent RB Carlos Washington Jr. was signed to the Atlanta Falcons practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Link to storyAtlanta Falcons WR Mathew Sexton was released from the practice squad on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Link to storyAtlanta Falcons RB Godwin Igwebuike was returned to the practice squad Monday, Sept. 18, after being on the active roster for the Week 2 game.
Link to storyAtlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts had just two receptions for 15 yards on five targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
Footballguys view: Pitts drew a pass interference in the end zone, but that's little consolation for fantasy players who saw Jonnu Smith decisively outscore Pitts in fantasy leagues on a day that Drake London bounced back from his Week 1 dud. Next week vs. the Lions is a great matchup as they gave up a ton of catches and yards to Seahawks tight ends today, but if Pitts doesn't break through next week, it might be time to bench him until he goes off on our benches. |

Atlanta Falcons TE Jonnu Smith went for four receptions and 47 yards on six targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Atlanta Falcons WR Mack Hollins posted three grabs for 60 yards on six targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
Link to storyMack Hollins player page
Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London ended up with team highs of six receptions and 67 yards with a touchdown on seven targets in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
Footballguys view: London bounced back in a more competitive that asked his offense to pass more just as his fantasy teams had hoped. The Lions offense should force the Falcons out of their shell next week, keeping London in lineups as a WR3/Flex. |
Atlanta Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier rushed 16 times for just 48 yards in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers and he was not targeted in the pass game.
Footballguys view: That Allgeier got this much work with Bijan Robinson getting 19 carries and the Falcons trailing for part of this game is a good sign. He's a matchup RB2/Flex and certainly worth holding despite the shoddy showing today. He's a what the heck flex against the Lions next week. |
Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson rushed 19 times for 124 yards in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers for his first 100-yard game in the NFL. He also added four receptions for 48 yards on five targets.
Footballguys view: Robinson moved ahead of Tyler Allgeier in the backfield pecking order this week and looked like he deserves to stay there. Spending a first round pick on him doesn't look like an overpay heading into a matchup with the Lions. |
Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder completed 19-of-32 passes for 237 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers. He also added 10 runs for 39 yards and a score.
Footballguys view: Ridder started slow and gave up a pick on a ball he threw while being hit, but played better as the game went on and led his team to a comeback victory and 2-0 start while providing 2QB/Superflex teams with great production if they trusted him after a quiet fantasy opener in an easy win. Putting up good numbers against a defense that frustrated Justin Fields is a great sign for Ridder's staying power. He might even be worth a spot start in 1QB leagues against the beatable Lions pass defense. |
Atlanta Falcons LB Kaden Elliss finished with team bests of six total tackles and six solo stops in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers. He also had a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit.
