| Footballguys view: Via Will McFadden of the team's website, Stefanski said on Wednesday that London is dealing with a "little thing" and the club is being "ultra cautious" with the wideout. Stefanski added that London could have practiced, but the head coach decided to hold him out of the session. We'll continue to watch this. But for now, there's no reason to view London as anything but the fantasy WR1 candidate he is. |

| Footballguys view: Until Penix is healthy, the quarterback competition won't truly get underway in Atlanta. Hopefully both he and Tua Tagovailoa look like starting quality quarterbacks in camp to make Stefanski's decision more difficult, but enhance the value of the players in the Falcons offense. |

| Footballguys view: The Falcons will wrap up their offseason program with a mandatory minicamp next week. Penix is returning from last season's torn ACL. Stefanski also said that Penix has hit every milestone in his rehab schedule to this point in the offseason. Tua Tagovailoa is the other quarterback option for the Falcons. This is a situation we'll be monitoring through training camp. |

Speculation abounds that Gibbs could get rewarded with a deal that pays him around $20 million annually. There is no doubt that Robinson will be in that same ballpark once his new deal is finalized. |

Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts has impressed head coach Kevin Stefanski. 'The physical skill set is obvious when Kyle is on the field and with how big he is and how he moves, but I've been impressed with how he is taking to what we're asking him to do and then a couple new things for him,' Stefanski said.
| Footballguys view: Pitts signed his franchise tag earlier this year, and the Falcons may want to see how he fits in the new offense before committing to a long-term deal. Pitts said he will run "new routes" in Stefanski's offensive scheme this season. Stefanski is a coach who could get the best from Pitts, so he's clearly a TE1 for Fantasy GMs. However, his range of outcomes is anywhere from TE1 to TE12 in 2026. |

Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London and the Falcons have reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension, according to a source on Tuesday, June 2.
| Footballguys view: According to London's agent, Andrew Kessler, it's a $141 million extension worth up to $150 million, including $100 million guaranteed. London will earn $35.25 million per year. It makes London the third-highest paid receiver in the league, with the highest average per year in the Falcons. Across his four NFL seasons so far, he's averaging 77.3 receptions for 990.3 yards and 5.5 touchdowns per year, having led the Falcons in receptions and receiving yards in his first three campaigns before missing five games in 2025. He's being drafted as WR7 with the 17th pick overall. |

Once Penix is ready, the 2024 first-round draft pick is expected to compete with offseason signee Tua Tagovailoa for the starting job. Woods look helpless with a juke on an out-route, then followed it up with a catch and spin that drew immediate Bijan Robinson comparisons." For a receiver who was drafted 79th overall, the early buzz has been anything but quiet. Footballguy Sigmund Bloom believes Branch's quickness, 4.35 speed, and competitiveness could make him Tyreek Hill lite in a best-case scenario. It's enough to keep an eye on his progress this summer. |

So, as The Athletic's Josh Kendall suggests, health is the first piece of information we need to determine what kind of competition he'll face from free-agent addition Tua Tagovailoa. From there, it's going to be about who best fits into new coach Kevin Stefanski's offense. While Tagovailoa is the favorite, it's hard to imagine the Falcons not giving Penix a shot this year, considering they spent the No. 8 pick on him just two years ago. But a new coaching staff and personnel department will likely feel less pressure to play him. |

Anthony had the second fastest three cone time (6.86) at the Combine, so you know he has the quickness to get open. He only projects as a slot receiver, and Anthony isn't anything special after the catch, but a roster spot on the team's poor wide receiver depth chart is ripe for the picking. The Falcons gave him a bigger bonus than seventh round picks got last year, so expect him to at worst make the practice squad. |
