Cleveland Browns OG Joel Bitonio (ankle, rest) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyCleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt (ribs, groin) will not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: Well, that didn't take long. Hunt was signed off the free agent wire last week, and Fantasy GMs were wondering how he would cut into the workload for Jerome Ford. Now, Hunt is banged up so that just means more from Ford and perhaps some Pierre Strong in the Browns' backfield. |

Free-agent TE Devin Asiasi (Browns) is signing with the Cleveland Browns practice squad, per sources Monday, Sept. 25.
Footballguys view: Asiasi worked out for the Browns last week, and they decided to give him a shot. A former third-round pick (2020) of the Patriots, Asiasi was known as a receiving threat at UCLA but he's done little as a pro in that department (four career catches). |

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku was good for four receptions and 20 yards on his four targets in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.
Link to storyDavid Njoku player page
Cleveland Browns WR Elijah Moore ended up with nine receptions for 49 yards on his nine targets in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, while going for minus-1 yard on three rushing attempts.
Footballguys view: Moore had a fumble and didn't post any big plays, but the Browns focus on him in the short passing game in a game against a tough run defense was a good development for his fantasy value. He's a what the heck flex against the Ravens next week with the arrow pointing up. |

Cleveland Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones ended up with three receptions and 49 yards on four targets in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.
Link to storyDonovan Peoples-Jones player page
Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper ended up with seven receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.
Footballguys view: Cooper had a long score to ice the game and didn't seem to be bothered by the groin injury that popped up last week. Deshaun Watson is playing better and that's good enough to keep Cooper in lineups heading into a matchup with the Ravens. |
Amari Cooper player page
Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt rushed five times for just 13 yards in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans in his first game since re-signing with the team. He also added two receptions for 22 yards on three targets.
Link to storyKareem Hunt player page
Cleveland Browns RB Pierre Strong rushed six times for a game-high 27 yards in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, while he was not targeted in the pass game.
Link to storyCleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford rushed 10 times for just 18 yards in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, but he posted his first career rushing touchdown. He also added two receptions for 33 yards and a score on three targets.
Footballguys view: Ford was in on over half of the snaps got the key red zone touches, so this was a big success and reassuring if you spent a lot on him on the waiver wire. The Browns defense should allow them to stay balanced on offense, and Ford didn't do anything to discourage the team from keeping him as the lead back next week in a showdown with Baltimore. |
Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson completed 27-of-33 passes for a season-high 289 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, and he added 16 rushing yards on four attempts.
Footballguys view: Watson had his best game as a Brown by a large margin. The Titans pass defense was a good matchup as expected, and Watson hit Amari Cooper for a long bomb to ice the game and help fantasy teams that trusted him after a slow start. He'll face the Ravens in an AFC North showdown next week. |

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett was good for five total stops, including four of the solo variety, while adding 3.5 sacks, three tackles for loss and five quarterback hits in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans.

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) could return in six to eight months after initial tests revealed that he suffered only a torn MCL, according to sources.

Footballguys view: The Browns are just updating their emergency list here. If signed, we'll monitor these skill position players - but only in super crazy deep dynasty formats. |

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) was officially placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Footballguys view: Chubb's season is done, and he's got one more year left on his deal. If the Browns wanted to move on, they'd take a $4 million cap hit in 2024. Chubb is on the books for $15.8 million next season. This year, the Browns are going to see what Kareem Hunt has left with Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong working in a RBBC. |

Free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million with the Cleveland Browns Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Footballguys view: Hunt is back with the Browns now that Nick Chubb (knee) has been lost for the season. He's a seasoned veteran with plenty of experience with the Browns, but Hunt did not look good last year. We'll see how long it takes him to get into football shape, and then we'll see how Hunt works into the mix with guys like Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong. |

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers and free-agent RB Kareem Hunt (Browns) are among a group of at least three running backs - including Trey Sermon before he was signed to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts - that the Cleveland Browns have looked into in the wake of Nick Chubb's season-ending knee injury, according to multiple reports.

Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford is expected to serve as the team's featured running back following the season-ending knee injury to Nick Chubb in Week 2, according to comments made by head coach Kevin Stefanski on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Footballguys view: Fantasy GMs are going to go hard after Ford on the waiver wire - and for good reason. He's got the skill to churn out big plays as both a runner and receiver out of the backfield. The Browns will also use RB Pierre STrong as a reserve in their backfield. Stefanski would not say whether the team would bring back free agent RB Kareem Hunt. However, we won't be surprised if/when the Browns make a move at the position. |
Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson won't be suspended for making contact with an official in Week 2, but he could be fined, according to sources.
Footballguys view: Watson did not play well against the Steelers, and his frustrations came out in the form of two facemask penalties and bumping into a ref. He's not going to be suspended, but a fine should be coming down. Watson needs to focus on his game, and he needs to focus on being better because the Browns are not getting their money's worth - not even close. |

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson's actions in Week 2 will be reviewed Tuesday, Sept. 19, according to a source. Watson had two facemask fouls and potentially made contact with an official.
