Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Footballguys view: In the protocol, Richardson will have to practice as he did on Wednesday and then go through testing to see how he responds the next day. We imagine Richardson should be able to play in Week 4 against the Rams. If he needs to miss more time, QB Gardner Minshew will start again. If Richardson plays, Fantasy GMs are likely to start him as the upside as a QB1 is always there when he's on the field. We just want to see Richardson get through a full game without getting banged up. |
Indianapolis Colts C Ryan Kelly (concussion) is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyIndianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol, but he will take starter repetitions in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) is still in the concussion protocol, per sources Monday, Sept. 25.
Footballguys view: The Colts went with Garnder Minshew in Week 3, and they won against the Ravens in overtime. Minshew is a solid veteran backup who can be an effective starter if they need him. Richardson will work his way through the league's concussion protocol and could be available this week. |

The Indianapolis Colts will release RB Deon Jackson, according to a source, and promote RB Trey Sermon from their practice squad for Week 3's game.
Footballguys view: Things change pretty quickly around here. Jackson started for the Colts in Week 1, but in Week 2 he didn't get a single offensive snap. He's likely to return to the team's practice squad. Sermon flashed in the preseason with the Eagles, but his pro career has been disappointing so far. |

Link to storyIndianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) is not practicing Friday, Sept. 22, and is unlikely to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.
Footballguys view: Gardner Minshew will get the start. He has some value in 2QB/Superflex after he looked very comfortable running Shane Steichen's offense in relief of Richardson last week. Minshew starting also helps the case to start deep sleepers like Josh Downs and Kylen Granson in deep leagues. |
Indianapolis Colts C Ryan Kelly (concussion), OG Quenton Nelson (toe), CB Kenny Moore II (knee) and QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. DT Grover Stewart (foot) was limited.

Indianapolis Colts RB Evan Hull (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a torn meniscus, according to a source.
Footballguys view: Hull was injured in Week 1, and he was placed on IR. Now, instead of being out 4-6 weeks, Hull may have to miss the rest of the season. The Colts got Zack Moss back last week, and Deon Jackson is still there too. Jake Funk could be getting more work, and the team is waiting for Jonathan Taylor to come off the PUP list. |
Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Footballguys view: Richardson has been dazzling this year in two games, but he's gotten banged up in both contests. He's working his way through the league's concussion protocol, and we'll have to see if he can do something on Friday. The way things are trending, the Colts might have to start Gardner Minshew against the Ravens in Week 3. |
Indianapolis Colts C Ryan Kelly (concussion) and OG Quenton Nelson (toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20. CB Kenny Moore II (knee) and DT Grover Stewart (foot) were limited during practice.

Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Footballguys view: Richardson has flashed amazing ability in two games, but he's getting banged up too much. Now, he's working his way through the league's concussion protocol. Check back on his status on Friday as the Colts prepare for a road game against the Ravens in Week 3. |
Free-agent RB Trey Sermon (Eagles) was signed to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Footballguys view: Sermon has flashed a tiny bit during his pro career, even though he's bounced around a bit. Now on his third team, Sermon is going to try to impress enough to earn a spot on the active roster. Only Fantasy GMs in crazy deep dynasty formats should be monitoring his progress. |

Indianapolis Colts Arlington Hambright was signed off the practice squad on Tuesday, Sept. 19. OT Ryan Hayes was released to make room for him on the roster.

Indianapolis Colts C Ryan Kelly (concussion) is going through the concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in Week 2.
Link to storyIndianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) is in the concussion protocol, per sources Monday, Sept. 18.
Footballguys view: Richardson has flashed over the first two weeks of the season. Before he was hurt in Week 2, Richardson was balling with two rushing touchdowns. We'll see if he can be cleared to play in Week 3. The Colts have veteran Gardner Minshew if Richardson has to miss time. |
Indianapolis Colts TE Kylen Granson had three receptions, 16 yards, and a touchdown during the team's Week 2 win over the Houston Texans.

Indianapolis Colts TE Kylen Granson (hamstring) was added to the injury report on Saturday, Sept. 16, and is now questionable for Week 2. In addition, TE Drew Ogletree (concussion) has cleared concussion protocol and carries no designation.
Footballguys view: Granson is an impressive player when healthy, but he seems to get dinged up more than you'd like. The Colts play against the Texans in Week 2, and guys like Mo Alie-Cox could be in line for more targets if Granson can't play. |
