Denver Broncos WR Pat Bryant had two catches for 20 yards versus the Houston Texans in Week 9. He was targeted three times.
Link to storyHouston Texans RB Nick Chubb carried 11 times for 34 yards in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Footballguys view: Chubb was unsuccessful on a first and goal carry and then the team curiously went to British Brooks on the subsequent goal to go carries during that drive. Chubb is just a desperation play going forward and not an essential hold as we head down the stretch run of the fantasy football regular season.

Denver Broncos LB Alex Singleton had 10 tackles - four solo - and one tackle for loss in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

Denver Broncos TE Evan Engram did not have a catch on three targets in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

Denver Broncos WR Troy Franklin caught four of a season high-tying 10 targets for 27 yards in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.
Footballguys view: Franklin also caught the game-tying two point conversion in the fourth quarter. The Texans have one of the best defenses in the league, so the low output might not be as important as the heavy target load for Franklin. He's a viable WR3/Flex against the Raiders on Thursday.
Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught just one of six targets, but it was a 30-yard touchdown, in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.
Footballguys view: If you're going to catch only one ball, a touchdown from 30 yards out is not a bad single catch. Sutton roasted Derek Stingley Jr., who maybe was expecting safety help on the deep ball. Sutton should have more production on Thursday against the Raiders.

Denver Broncos RB RJ Harvey rushed for five yards on two carries and caught all five targets for 51 yards and a 27-yard touchdown in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.
Footballguys view: Harvey came through as a flex as the Broncos were in pass mode in the second half trying to make up a deficit against the tough Texans defense. He's not going to hit his ceiling as long as JK Dobbins stays healthy, but Harvey has put up good fantasy numbers in a small role for two straight weeks now.
Denver Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins rushed for 61 yards on 15 carries in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix completed 18-of-37 for 173 yards with two touchdowns and an interception and rushed for 36 yards on three carries in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.
Footballguys view: Nix had multiple rough stretches against one of the best defenses in the league, but he once again saved his best play for the fourth quarter and led his team to another stirring comeback victory. He wasn't a bad play in a tough matchup, which makes him a good play in an easier matchup against the Raiders on Thursday.
Denver Broncos WR Trent Sherfield (knee) left the Week 9 game against the Houston Texans due to a knee injury. He is questionable to return.

Denver Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Mims couldn't practice this week or clear concussion protocol. In his absence, rookie Pat Bryant might see some extra work. He caught his first touchdown last week, and his route participation has jumped over the last few weeks. He's a very deep flex option for desperate managers, but it's hard to predict who will get targets in this offense aside from Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.
Denver Broncos TE Nate Adkins (knee), WR Marvin Mims (concussion) and CB Patrick Surtain II (pectoral) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 30. C Alex Forsyth (ankle) and S P.J. Locke (neck) were limited during practice. LB Dre Greenlaw (quadriceps) fully participated in practice.

Denver Broncos WR Marvin Mims (concussion) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 30.
Footballguys view: It doesn't seem like Mims is going to play against the Texans in Week 9. There's nobody like him on the roster, but without Mims we might see a few more touches for RJ Harvey.
Free-agent QB Sam Ehlinger (Broncos) was signed to the Denver Broncos' practice squad Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Denver Broncos CB Patrick Surtain II (pectoral) may be a candidate for the Reserve/Injured list because of the pectoral injury he suffered during the Week 8 game.
Footballguys view: On Monday afternoon, Jordan Schultz reported that Surtain is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. 9NEWS' Mike Klis confirmed the injury, though not the timetable. Now, with ESPN's Adam Schefter reporting that Surtain is likely to head to injured reserve, we're gaining clarity. The Broncos' bye is in Week 12, and Surtain could return shortly after. Still, this is a blow to the Broncos' defense.
Denver Broncos TE Lucas Krull (foot) is scheduled to undergo foot surgery Monday, Oct. 27, according to a source. He is expected to be sidelined for around eight weeks.

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix completed 19 of his 29 passes for 247 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in a 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
Link to storyWR Troy Franklin led the Broncos in all major receiving categories during their 44-point explosion against the Cowboys, catching six of eight targets for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Footballguys view: The Broncos' offense has broken out, and Franklin has much to do with it. Through eight games, Franklin has 33 catches, 358 receiving yards, and four scores to his name. As Fansided's Jack Ramsey noted, finally rekindling his connection with Bo Nix, Franklin has cemented himself as a legitimate receiving threat for Sean Payton's offense. The Broncos play the Texans in Week 9.

Broncos rookie R.J. Harvey scored three times, and the Denver Broncos routed the Dallas Cowboys 44-24 on Sunday for their fifth consecutive victory.
Footballguys view: Harvey had his first two rushing TDs of the season in the first half on a 40-yard burst and a Wildcat sneak from the former high school QB, and later caught a TD pass. The Broncos, fueled by a ground game that included a 40-yard scoring run by Harvey and J.K. Dobbins' second 100-yard rushing game of the season, had 264 yards at halftime. They have scored 77 points in their past five quarters. Dobbins isn't going away, but Harvey's play-making ability will move him higher on the fantasy radar heading into a Week 9 game against the Texans.
The Broncos closed out the Cowboys in emphatic fashion in the second half of Sunday's blowout, but not without a possible blow to their offense. Denver is placing receiver Marvin Mims Jr. in the concussion protocol, the team said.
Footballguys view: Mims took a massive helmet-to-helmet shot in the third quarter, but continued to play throughout the second half. A source told The Post that he sustained a concussion and entered protocol after a hit on a kickoff return with less than five minutes to play in the fourth quarter. After a six-catch, 85-yard breakout in Week 7 against the Giants, Mims was quieter against the Cowboys with three carries for 18 yards but no catches and just a single target. He'll need to work through the concussion protocol to play against the Texans in Week 9.
Denver Broncos TE Nate Adkins (knee) suffered a knee injury during a 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
Link to storyDenver Broncos CB Patrick Surtain II (shoulder) left the Week 8 game in the first half against the Dallas Cowboys due to a shoulder injury. He did not come back in to start the second half, and he is considered questionable to return.
Footballguys view: The Broncos defense leverages Surtain shutting down the passing game on one side of the field, and they will miss him for any games that he has to miss. Next week, the Broncos travel to Houston, who could get back their #1 receiver Nico Collins after he missed Week 8 due to a Monday night concussion in Week 7.
The Denver Broncos have declared DE Que Robinson, DT Jordan Jackson, DE Sai'vion Jones, QB Sam Ehlinger, DB J.T. Gray and RB Jaleel McLaughlin inactive for Week 8.

Denver Broncos LB Jordan Turner was a standard elevation from the practice squad for the Week 8 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Link to storyDenver Broncos QB Bo Nix faces the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8, and the Cowboys have allowed the second-most passing touchdowns (16) and a league-high 260.3 passing yards per game this season.
Footballguys view: The Broncos offense came alive in the fourth quarter against the Giants in Week 8. Nix became the first player to have two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns in a quarter, but before that time he was struggling mightily. Sean Payton needs to get on the same page as Nix, and perhaps the Broncos do that on Sunday. They'll need a robust offense to go up against a high-powered Cowboys offense (even with their swarming pass rush on defense). We like Nix as a high-end QB1 in this matchup.
Denver Broncos LB Jonah Elliss (shoulder) and OT Mike McGlinchey (foot, ankle) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 24, and no longer appear on the injury report.
