Link to storyGreen Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) will participate in the joint practice Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Footballguys view: Good news for the Packers here. Kraft is going to get eased back into action, beginning with joint practice participation. Earlier this offseason, Kraft said the team will "probably" keep him on a snap count until halfway through the 2026 season. This means Fantasy GMs may have to wait for him as an option. Keep him on your waiver wire speed dial as he can post TE1 numbers when healthy.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) took part in 11-on-11 work for the first time since injuring his groin on Aug. 6. He had previously returned last week in a limited capacity.
Footballguys view: According to CBSSports.com, although Jacobs hasn't practiced fully in more than two weeks while he's been managing the groin injury, the Packers haven't indicated that his availability for the start of the regular season is in any jeopardy. Even if Jacobs upgrades to full practice participation within the next few days, the Packers still could elect to hold him out of Friday's preseason finale versus the Cardinals as a precaution.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) will return to practice Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Footballguys view: Jacobs had been sidelined by a groin injury, and the expectation was he would return to work this week. Last season, Jacobs rushed for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games. he also caught 36 passes for 282 yards with a TD. Jacobs is being drafted as RB17 at the end of Round 3. It's a fair price if the veteran back is working at full speed in advance of Week 1.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) was back on offense during team reps practice Sunday, Aug. 16, and he had a touchdown reception from QB Jordan Love. He had his first on-field catches of training camp after offseason surgery. He remains on track to be ready for the regular season.
Footballguys view: Kraft indicated that the would "take into account his rep range" until halfway through the season and then "pat him on his -censored- and send him to the wolves". Considering that he was the TE1 in PPR leagues when he went down with a torn ACL last year, his 6th/7th round ADP more than takes into account the ramp up time he will need to be his old self, but this is confirmation that the team doesn't see him as truly full go to begin the season.

Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed caught one of his two targets for 19 yards in the preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday, Aug. 13.
Footballguys view: Reed's role did not grow to include two wide receiver sets in the offense's first action since Romeo Doubs left to sign in New England. That was Matthew Golden's spot. But Reed still ran as many routes as Golden and Christian Watson and got the most targets and catches.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love playing in the Packers' preseason opener against the Steelers is the current plan, according to HC Matt LaFleur on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Footballguys view: Love played the preseason opener in each of the last three seasons, so it's no real surprise the team will take the same approach this summer. LaFleur noted that he reserves the right to change his mind, but he also noted why he likes "getting your process down" ahead of the regular season. The Packers will be in Pittsburgh on Thursday, and they'll be back on the road against the Broncos for their second preseason game. Their only home game of the summer will be on August 28 against the Cardinals.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) will miss 'at least' another week of practice, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Footballguys view: Jacobs dealt with numerous injuries last season, finishing with 929 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns in 15 games (all starts). He also had 36 receptions for 282 yards and a score. MarShawn Lloyd has been a bright spot in training camp, LaFleur said, and is likely to work with the No. 1 offense in the preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. We'll have more on Jacobs as further details come to light.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (toe) returned to practice on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Footballguys view: While there were big expectations for Golden in his rookie year, he didn't get as many targets as expected. In 2025, Golden had 29 receptions for 361 yards. As Packers Talk suggested, this year there is more hope for Golden. The former first-round pick has already entrenched himself as one of the three starting WRs. He worked with the first team upon return Tuesday. Most likely, Golden will start as one of the Packers' outside receivers. He's being drafted as WR48. There's room for upside there.

Link to storyGreen Bay Packers DT Devonte Wyatt (ankle) returned to the practice field Sunday, Aug. 9, for the first time since suffering a season-ending ankle injury on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions on Nov. 27, 2025. Wyatt participated in team 11-on-11 drills for the first time.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers DL Javon Hargrave (knee) was on the practice field Sunday, Aug. 9, for the first time at training camp. He missed the final part of the team's offseason program due to 'a little flare up', and he started camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. He did individual drills Sunday. 'Going to meetings and not being able to watch yourself is just a different feeling,' Hargrave said. 'It was just good to be out there to do something.'

Green Bay Packers RB Christopher Brooks (hamstring) was able to take part in an indoor closed practice Sunday, Aug. 9. He was practicing for the first time at training camp after starting on the non-football injury (NFI) list due to a hamstring injury.
Footballguys view: Brooks had a chance to seize the backup RB job behind Josh Jacobs after the team let Emanuel Wilson walk as a restricted free agent, but 2024 third round pick MarShawn Lloyd finally had a healthy offseason after seeing the Meyer Institute of Sport and learning how his recovery from a 2020 ACL tear had him overcompensating still, which caused a myriad of injuries. Lloyd is the back to target late in drafts behind Jacobs, who is dealing with a minor groin issue.

Green Bay Packers LB Edgerrin Cooper (foot), LB Zaire Franklin (personal), CB Marlon Jones (undisclosed) and TE Josh Whyle (neck) are not taking part in an indoor closed practice Sunday, Aug. 9. Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (toe) did not take part in a closed indoor practice Sunday, Aug. 9, due to a toe injury. Head coach Matt LaFleur said that the injury is not a long-term concern.
Footballguys view: Of this and Jayden Reed's ankle injury, this might be slightly more worrisome because Golden's game is more predicated on speed, and toe issues can keep a receiver from being able to really open up the throttle. We will still trust coach LaFleur that this is not something to worry about re: Golden's outlook this season as long as he's back at practice soon.

Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed (ankle) did not at an indoor closed practice Sunday, Aug. 9, due to an ankle injury. Head coach Matt LaFleur said that the injury is not a long-term concern.
Footballguys view: Matthew Golden also has a toe issue, so the Packers wide receivers are a little banged up right now. As long as Reed and Golden are back at practice soon, we will just chalk this up to normal camp wear and tear as players round into shape.

Green Bay Packers WR Skyy Moore is 'looking more and more' like a player who will have a spot on the 53-man roster, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.

Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (groin) did not practice on Thursday, Aug. 6. The injury isn't considered to be long-term.
Footballguys view: It's not a serious injury, but 2024 third round pick MarShawn Lloyd has had an impressive camp - and more importantly stayed healthy so far after two injury-riddled seasons in the NFL. Jacobs could have more company in the backfield than he has in the past, and it's fair to wonder if he is wearing down after logging at least 260 touches in each of the first seven years of his career.
