Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Footballguys view: The Packers have a short week since they play on Thursday night against the Lions. That doesn't mean much for Watson though as he's yet to play this season. He's closer to returning, but his status is up in the air for Week 4. |
Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Footballguys view: Jones is close to returning, but hamstring injuries can linger. He didn't play in Week 3, so even on a short week (Thursday night against the Lions) Jones might be out there. He's at least flex worthy if the veteran back plays in Week 4. |

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) will play against the Detroit Lions in Week 4, according to teammate Romeo Doubs.
Footballguys view: Good news for the Packers here if it happens. We'll monitor Jones' status during the week of practice, which is a short week since the Packers play on the Lions on Thursday night in Week 4. AJ Dillon has not been good with more time, so Jones will be a welcome return to an offense that has more potential. |

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) told reporters 'that's the plan' when he was asked if he was playing against the Detroit Lions in Week 4 on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Footballguys view: Watson can be the no.1 receiver for the Packers if healthy and playing up to his full potential. That could free up coverage for Romeo Doubs on the other side. Doubs has been a fine player for the Packers this year, but we'll have to see how the targets are spread around from QB Jordan Love when Watson is able to get out there. |
Green Bay Packers RB Patrick Taylor reverted to the practice squad Monday, Sept. 25, after being on the active roster for the Week 3 game.

LB Rashan Gary (knee) was limited during practice. The Packers did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers CB Carrington Valentine (biceps) was unable to return to the Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints after leaving with a biceps injury.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers WR Samori Toure didn't have a reception on three targets in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, although he was able to haul in a grab on a successful two-point conversion.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks registered four receptions for 45 yards on six targets in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers TE Luke Musgrave ended up with six receptions for 49 yards on eight targets in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
Footballguys view: Musgrave was open for a big play that would have gone for 40-50 yards, if not a touchdown, but Jordan Love missed him. His value is trending up and he's worth a look as your TE1 this week on Thursday against the Lions. Make sure Musgrave isn't on your waiver wire. |
Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed converted just three of his seven targets for catches in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, but he was able to finish with a respectable 63 receiving yards.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs posted five grabs for 73 yards and a touchdown on a game-high 12 targets in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
Footballguys view: Doubs caught the game winning score on a trust throw from Jordan Love with perfect timing into tight coverage. Christian Watson may not be ready for Thursday night against the Lions and either way with Jordan Love shaking off a poor start to post a very strong finish, Doubs should be in consideration as a WR3/Flex next week. |
Green Bay Packers RB Emanuel Wilson rushed twice for six yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, while adding a 6-yard grab on his lone target.
Link to storyGreen Bay Packers RB Patrick Taylor rushed three times for six yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, while adding three grabs for 23 yards on four targets.

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Sept. 22, and is listed as questionable for Week 3 versus the New Orleans Saints.
Footballguys view: Jones is on the probable side of questionable, but the Packers are notoriously conservative about players return to play timelines, so we can't be sure he should be in our lineups until Sunday morning. If he can't go, AJ Dillon is only a what the heck flex against a strong Saints defense. |

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
Link to storyUpdating an earlier report, Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) did not suffer a setback, and his absence from practice on Thursday, Sept. 21, was planned, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Footballguys view: Watson was present at practice today and will be listed as questionable for Week 3. As long as he's active vs. New Orleans, we should consider him a boom/bust WR3/Flex, but it's a tough matchup and wide receivers carry a little extra risk in their first game back from a hamstring injury. |

Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday, Sept. 21.
Footballguys view: This is a good sign that Jones will be out there in Week 3. He missed Wednesday's practice, and Jones was held out in Week 2. With AJ Dillon unimpressive, Jones' return will have a positive impact on the Packers offense. Against the Saints in Week 3, we like Jones as a low-end RB2/flex play. |
