Packers | Dontayvion Wicks may be available Tue Nov 4, 01:29 AM
Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) has a chance to be available for the Week 10 game, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Footballguys view: Wicks has missed the last two weeks due to a calf injury that he sustained during a Week 7 win at Arizona. He hasn't practiced since he suffered the injury, so we'll be watching to see if he ramps that up this week.

Free-agent TE McCallan Castles (Rams) recently worked out for the Green Bay Packers.
Link to storyPackers tight end Tucker Kraft is out for the season. An MRI confirmed today what was feared yesterday: Kraft suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, according to multiple reports.
Footballguys view: The recovery time for a torn ACL is such that there's no chance of Kraft playing again this season, and he could be in jeopardy for the start of the 2026 season as well. Kraft leads the team with 489 receiving yards and six touchdowns, and he has emerged as one of the best tight ends in the NFL this season. He won't be easy to replace, but Luke Musgrave will get the opportunity to do that.

Link to storyGreen Bay Packers TE Luke Musgrave finished with three receptions for 34 yards on three targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.
Footballguys view: With the Packers fearing starting TE Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL against the Panthers, Musgrave should move up on your waiver-wire watchlist heading into Week 10.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson ended up with two receptions for 58 yards on four targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.
Footballguys view: Watson left the game briefly to be checked for a concussion. He was cleared and returned. With tight end Tucker Kraft dealing with a serious knee injury and rookie WR Matthew Golden dealing with a shoulder injury, the rest of the Packers' receiving corps will be on the spot when the Packers play the Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 10.
Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs registered season highs with seven receptions, 91 yards and 10 targets in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) left the Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury, and the team fears it is a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which would end his season, according to NFL beat writer Mike Silver.
Footballguys view: Kraft was trying to make a block and banged into a teammate who was engaged with a Bengals defender. He grabbed at his knee as soon as he went to the ground and had to be carted to the locker room. Time to go back to the drawing board for teams that had been enjoying Kraft's production as the #1 tight end in fantasy football going into Week 9. Luke Musgrave replaced him and he is one of the potential pickups if you need to replace Kraft.

Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden (shoulder) left the Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers in the second half due to a shoulder injury, and he was ruled out.
Footballguys view: Golden posted two receptions for 9 yards before he left. He has more than 250 receiving yards this season with no touchdowns. We'll be watching for more on his outlook for Week 10 in coming days.

Footballguys view: The Packers passing game had a rough afternoon, as Tucker Kraft left with a knee injury, and Christian Watson had to be checked for a concussion during the second half. The Packers offense could be shorthanded against the Eagles next week.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Watson made his return a week ago from last year's Week 18 ACL tear and immediately played over half the team's snaps. He added a much-needed vertical element to the Packers offense, and should build off of that going into Week 9. He's a boom/bust WR4 this week, but worth a stash to see how his role develops.
Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 31, but is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Footballguys view: The Packers have been conservative with Jacobs' usage over the last couple of weeks as he navigates this calf injury. Still, a matchup against the Panthers puts him into RB1 consideration. Expect Emanuel Wilson to get some work, but Jacobs still projects for the vast majority.

Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and has been ruled out for Week 9.
Footballguys view: Wicks has been in a pretty quiet role even before suffering a calf injury in Week 7. Especially with the emergence of Christian Watson, the path to fantasy relevance for Wicks is narrow. He's droppable in most formats.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 30.
Footballguys view: Watson returned to the field last week for the first time in the 2025 season. He caught all four targets for 85 yards in the Packers' Week 8 win over the Steelers. Against the Panthers in Week 9, Watson could produce like a WR3/flex play.
Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 30.
Footballguys view: Jacobs continues to be limited by this calf injury. He's played with this injury over the last couple of games, so Fantasy GMs can look to Jacobs as an RB2.

Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Footballguys view: Watson played last week in his first game back from the knee injury that he sustained during the 2024 season. It's expected that he was going to be limited this week early. Let's see if he can be a full participant by Friday. We like Watson as a deep flex play in Week 9.
Green Bay Packers RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Footballguys view: Jacobs has been dealing with this calf injury for the past couple of games. He's limited on Wednesday, but we'll see if he can be upgraded to full by Friday. The Packers face the Panthers in Week 9, and Jacobs should produce as an RB1 for Fantasy GMs.

Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Footballguys view: Wicks didn't play in Week 8 against the Steelers. The Packers got Christian Watson back out there in Week 8, so they're not in any hurry to get Wicks out there.

Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught seven of his nine targets for 143 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
Footballguys view: Of his 143 yards, 128 came after the catch. It's the most YAC by a tight end in a game since 2018 (George Kittle, 135 vs. the Broncos). Kraft also has the two highest YAC games by a tight end this season. His 59-yard catch in the third quarter was his longest of the season, but he also had a 57-yarder earlier this year. The rest of the TEs in the NFL have combined for three receptions of 50-plus yards. The Packers play the Panthers in Week 9.

Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love completed 29 of his 37 passes for 360 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8.
Footballguys view: At one point, Love completed a career-best 20 straight passes on the way to going 29-for-37 for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Love nearly doubled his previous long completion streak of 11. Love became the first Packers quarterback with 350 yards passing, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in a game since Aaron Rodgers in 2021 at the Vikings. The Packers play the Panthers in Week 9.
