Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is out for the season. An MRI confirmed today what was feared yesterday: Kraft suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, according to multiple reports.
| Footballguys view: The recovery time for a torn ACL is such that there's no chance of Kraft playing again this season, and he could be in jeopardy for the start of the 2026 season as well. Kraft leads the team with 489 receiving yards and six touchdowns, and he has emerged as one of the best tight ends in the NFL this season. He won't be easy to replace, but Luke Musgrave will get the opportunity to do that. |

| Footballguys view: Kraft was trying to make a block and banged into a teammate who was engaged with a Bengals defender. He grabbed at his knee as soon as he went to the ground and had to be carted to the locker room. Time to go back to the drawing board for teams that had been enjoying Kraft's production as the #1 tight end in fantasy football going into Week 9. Luke Musgrave replaced him and he is one of the potential pickups if you need to replace Kraft. |

He added a much-needed vertical element to the Packers offense, and should build off of that going into Week 9. He's a boom/bust WR4 this week, but worth a stash to see how his role develops. |

| Footballguys view: Of his 143 yards, 128 came after the catch. It's the most YAC by a tight end in a game since 2018 (George Kittle, 135 vs. the Broncos). Kraft also has the two highest YAC games by a tight end this season. His 59-yard catch in the third quarter was his longest of the season, but he also had a 57-yarder earlier this year. The rest of the TEs in the NFL have combined for three receptions of 50-plus yards. The Packers play the Panthers in Week 9. |
