Jacksonville Jaguars WR Parker Washington had eight receptions for 115 yards on 10 targets in the Week 17 game against the Indianapolis Colts, and he ran for minus-5 yards.
Footballguys view: As NFL.com suggested, Washington continues proving himself as a reliable target, racking up contested catches and playing much larger than his 5-10 frame. One week after setting a career high with 145 receiving yards and a touchdown in the Jags' win over Denver, Washington delivered again. On a day Trevor Lawrence went without a passing touchdown (but ran for two scores), Washington was an essential part of a Jacksonville air attack that is suddenly very diverse thanks to the presence of Brian Thomas Jr., the acquisition of Jakobi Meyers, and the ascension of Washington and tight end Brenton Strange.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 23-of-37 passes for 263 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 17 against the Indianapolis Colts, while posting eight runs for 26 yards and two touchdowns.
Footballguys view: As NFL.com suggested, Lawrence is playing the best football of his career right now. Even on a day in which he was held without a passing touchdown, Lawrence delivered a strong fantasy performance. His 23.1 points ranked fifth through Sunday night's kickoff. Fantasy investors who played him down the stretch got league-winning numbers as Lawrence averaged 32.9 points per game from Weeks 15 through 17. Of course, Lawrence's draft value will rise based on his strong finish. We'll be covering that all offseason long.

Jacksonville Jaguars OL Anton Harrison (illness) was added to the injury report Sunday, Dec. 28, and is considered questionable to play in Week 17's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) has been ruled out of the Week 17 game.
Footballguys view: Tuten is getting close to a return after being limited in practice all week. He's out against the Colts on Sunday, but the rookie could be out there in Week 18. LeQuint Allen will be the backup to Travis Etienne on Sunday.
Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jourdan Lewis (foot) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Dec. 25.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 26, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.
Footballguys view: Initial reports after Tuten's finger surgery were that he would miss "a few weeks," but he returned to practice after missing just one game. If active, it would be tough to trust him in any championship lineups. However, his return would slightly ding the projections for Travis Etienne Jr., who has emerged as a surefire RB1.
Jacksonville Jaguars C Robert Hainsey (groin) and OG Patrick Mekari (back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 25. RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger), WR Tim Patrick (foot), OG Ezra Cleveland (shoulder), DE Danny Striggow (ankle), LB Jalen McLeod (ankle), CB Montaric Brown (neck) and CB Greg Newsome (shoulder) were limited during practice. Jacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Footballguys view: Tuten underwent surgery on his finger a couple of weeks ago. At the time, most felt he would be out the rest of the regular season. The Jaguars can make a deep postseason run, so it will be interesting to see if Tuten gets back out there in Week 17 (seems unlikely) or Week 18 (quite possible). Stay tuned.

Jaguars WR Parker Washington caught six passes for a career-best 145 yards and a TD in Sunday's 34-20 win in Denver.
Footballguys view: Washington shattered his previous career high for receiving (103 yards). He set up a touchdown with a 63-yard catch-and-run and also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass while fighting off contact in the end zone. He drew a pass interference call in the end zone that helped set up another touchdown, too. On a day when the Broncos limited Jakobi Meyers (four catches, 45 yards) and Brian Thomas Jr. (two catches, 18 yards), Washington came up big. Jacksonville will play the Colts in Indy in Week 17.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 23 of his 36 passes for 279 yards and three touchdowns and rushed six times for 20 yards and a score in a 34-20 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 16.
Footballguys view: Lawrence now has 18 touchdowns (16 passing, two rushing) during the Jaguars' six-game winning streak, including 10 in the past two games. He has 26 passing touchdowns this season, making him the only player in franchise history to throw 25 or more touchdowns twice. For our purposes, he's been QB1 overall since Week 10. With games against the Colts and Titans remaining, Lawrence could easily continue adding to that total. His success against one of the league's top defenses will have us starting him with total confidence at Indianapolis in Week 17.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (finger) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 19, and has been ruled out for Week 16.
Footballguys view: Tuten is expected to miss time after undergoing finger surgery and is droppable in most formats. LeQuint Allen becomes Jacksonville's injury-away back and is a savvy pickup for fantasy managers looking to get ahead of the curve.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension with the Jaguars Thursday, Dec. 18, worth $60 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. The deal included $40 million in guaranteed money.

Carolina Panthers RB DeeJay Dallas was signed off the Carolina Panthers' practice squad on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Footballguys view: Dallas played three games for the Panthers earlier this season. He had one carry for no gain during that stint. He had 121 carries for 517 yards and four touchdowns in 78 games for the Cardinals and Seahawks over the previous five seasons. Rookie LeQuint Allen Jr. is the next man up behind Travis Etienne Jr. with Tuten sidelined. Dallas offers depth, but don't expect a regular role.

Jaguars rookie RB Bhayshul Tuten will undergo surgery to repair a finger injury suffered in yesterday's win over the Jets, sources tell NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
Footballguys view: Per the report, Tuten will miss a few weeks but should be back for the playoffs. Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke suggested on Sunday that we can expect Travis Etienne Jr. to play more going forward, including a few more touches per game, with Tuten missing time. The Jaguars have rough matchups against the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts in Weeks 16 and 17, so a few more touches would help Etienne's fantasy value in those games.
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange caught one pass for 26 yards against the New York Jets in Week 15. He was targeted three times during the game.
Footballguys view: Strange was a big part of the pass offense at first when he returned from injured reserve, but he had a touchdown wiped off of the board last week, and didn't catch any of Trevor Lawrence's five touchdown passes this week. He was a Week 15 bust, but could still be in consideration for fantasy lineups next week at Denver because this offense has been prolific as of late.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. caught four passes for 66 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 15. He was targeted seven times during the game.
Footballguys view: Thomas scored early in the game and hauled in a deep ball later on that reconfirmed the budding connection between him and a red hot Trevor Lawrence. Thomas will be a high ceiling WR3/Flex play against the Broncos. It's not exactly what you expected if you took Thomas in fantasy drafts this season, but it's better than what you thought you had for most of the season.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jakobi Meyers caught five passes for 71 yards against the New York Jets in Week 15. He was targeted seven times during the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB LeQuint Allen rushed for 11 yards on four carries against the New York Jets in Week 15. He also caught one pass for five yards during the game.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten caught one pass for 16 yards and one touchdown against the New York Jets in Week 15. He also rushed for seven yards on one carry during the game.
Footballguys view: The rookie also suffered a finger injury and didn't return. As Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke suggests, if Tuten misses time, we can expect Travis Etienne Jr. to play more going forward, including a few more touches per game. The Jaguars have two rough matchups against the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts, so a few more touches would help Etienne's fantasy value in those games.
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne caught three passes for 73 yards and three touchdowns against the New York Jets in Week 15. He also rushed for 32 yards on 12 carries during the game.
Footballguys view: Etienne was held in check as a runner, but turned each of his three targets into touchdowns against a woeful Jets pass defense that waved the white flag in this one. He'll be a strong RB1 play against the Broncos next week as the lead back for a peaking Jaguars offense.
Travis Etienne Jr. player page
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence went 20-for-32 for 330 yards and five touchdowns against the New York Jets in Week 15. He also rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown on five carries during the game.
Footballguys view: Lawrence was a golden ticket to the next round of the fantasy playoffs. He became the first player in NFL history to throw for five scores, and run for 50 yards and a score in a game. He has been a fantasy QB1 for the last four games with this performance for the ages. You'll need to have a very compelling option at quarterback to leave Lawrence on your bench when he goes to Denver next week.
