Jaguars | Jags sign four UDFAs Sun Apr 26, 10:45 AM
Virginia RB J'Mari Taylor, Montana State WR Michael Wortham, South Dakota State WR Alex Bullock and Troy TE Ethan Conner signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as undrafted free agents Saturday, April 25.
Footballguys view: Taylor is a hard-nosed back that most expected to get drafted in what ended up being one of the worst running back classes (in terms of draft capital) in the history of the draft. He is a short but thickly built back with good feet and eyes for the zone running game and potential as a passing down back. He's a name worth remembering given the uncertain future of the Jaguars backfield.

Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars PK Cam Little has connected on both of his field goal attempts from 67-plus yards in his career, and the rest of the NFL is 0-22 all-time on field goal attempts from 67 or more yards.
Link to storyJacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter (knee) will make a full recovery from his knee injury and should be a standout player for the team next season, according to head coach Liam Coen.
Footballguys view: Questions about his role will persist, however. Hunter, who played 67 percent of the team's offensive snaps and 36 percent of the defensive snaps before his season-ending knee injury Oct. 30, is expected to see playing time at cornerback this season. "At this point, walking into the offseason, corner is a position that we have a few guys who are on expiring contracts," general manager James Gladstone recently said. "By default, you can expect there to be a higher emphasis on his placement [at corner]." We'll watch for more in coming weeks.

Link to storyMiami Dolphins cornerbacks coach Mathieu Araujo has been hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their defensive pass game coordinator.
Link to storyThe Jaguars announced on Tuesday that Anthony Campanile and Grant Udinski -- the club's defensive and offensive coordinators -- will return to the team for 2026. The club noted that both men agreed to terms, implying that both will receive extensions.
Footballguys view: Campanile was interviewed for Arizona's head coaching job. But Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur is undergoing an in-person interview for that job on Tuesday, and is a strong candidate to land in the role. Udinski also had interviewed with the Browns and Bills in recent days. But Udinski took himself out of consideration for Cleveland's job, and Buffalo promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach on Tuesday. Jacksonville won the AFC South with a 13-4 record in 2025, falling to Buffalo in the Wild-Card round.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter will probably see more playing time at cornerback next season since the team has multiple cornerbacks that will become free agents this offseason, according to general manager James Gladstone. 'At this point walking into the offseason, corner is a position that we have a few guys who are on expiring contracts. By default, you can expect there to be a higher emphasis on his placement [at corner},' Gladstone said.
Footballguys view: Hunter's rookie season ended with 28 catches for 298 yards and a touchdown, 15 tackles, and three pass breakups. He played 67 percent of the team's offensive snaps and 36 percent of the defensive snaps before his season-ending knee injury Oct. 30. Hunter has been rehabbing since undergoing surgery to repair a torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee Nov. 11. We'll be watching for more, but short of roster moves to shore up the secondary, expect to see Hunter playing more defense.
Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent RB Travis Etienne is unlikely to be a candidate for the franchise tag this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Michael DiRocco.
Footballguys view: Etienne is coming off his third 1,000-yard rushing season and posted 13 total touchdowns. He turned out to be a good fit in coach Liam Coen's offense, improved as a pass blocker, and was the team's most consistent offensive player. Still, the estimated franchise tag for a running back in 2026 (per OverTheCap.com) would be $14.153 million, which would make Etienne the fourth-highest-paid running back in terms of annual salary. The presence of 2025 draft picks Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen Jr. will be part of the equation for Jacksonville. We'll be watching for more.

Footballguys view: The Jaguars running game underachieved this season even though Travis Etienne was a big fantasy success, so the hope is that Picucci can improve it. Picucci decided for a reunion with Coen (who also had Picucci on his staff at Kentucky) over staying on in Tampa under new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson.
