New York Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyNew York Jets OG Wes Schweitzer (concussion) and DB Tony Adams (hamstring) won't practice on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Link to storyNew York Jets QB Zach Wilson's play has caused a great deal of unrest in the locker room and there is some feeling that head coach Robert Saleh is 'coming off as a Zach apologist,' according to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini.
Footballguys view: The Jets are likely to move on from Wilson as their starter in the near future. Matt Ryan doesn't want to play for them according to reports, while Colin Kaepernick does want to play for the Jets. The team signed veteran QB Trevor Siemian to their practice squad, and he's got enough experience to take over if they want him to. Wilson has been terrible as the team's starter, and their hopes for 2023 went down when QB Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season after a small handful of plays in Week 1. |

Free-agent QB Trevor Siemian (Bengals) agreed to an undisclosed contract with the New York Jets Tuesday, Sept. 26, pending a physical.
Footballguys view: Zach Wilson has not been great this season, so the Jets are bringing in a solid veteran with a ton of starting experience. Siemian isn't great, but he's a tough player who will run the offense as designed. He might prove to be an upgrade over the former no.2 overall pick from the 2021 NFL draft. |

Link to storyNew York Jets WR Garrett Wilson caught five passes for 48 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He was targeted nine times during the game.
Footballguys view: Wilson didn't break any big plays against a tough Patriots defense, so consider this a floor game. Expect more from Wilson next week in a game that should ask the Jets to throw a ton to try to keep up with Patrick Mahomes. |
New York Jets RB Breece Hall rushed for 18 yards on 12 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He also caught one pass for nine yards during the game.
Footballguys view: The Patriots overplayed the run today, so Hall didn't have a chance to be fantasy relevant. The Chiefs matchup next week is also terrible for his outlook, so consider putting a buy low offer out there for Hall. Remember his best games last year came with Zach Wilson at quarterback. |
New York Jets RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 18 yards on eight carries against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He also caught three passes for 11 yards during the game.

New York Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) will still have a pitch count in Week 2, according to a source Friday, Sept. 15.
Footballguys view: He should still be in lineups, as Hall posted one of the best running back games of Week 1 without the benefit of a score of full workload. If the Jets have a chance to beat the Cowboys in Arlington, Hall will be a big reason why. |
