| Footballguys view: Payton is a top end athlete, but not very advanced as a processor in the pocket. He has played a few snaps as a tight end and would be one of the most athletic tight ends in the league if he converted. Jalen Hurts is a free agent in 2028 and the team doesn't appear to have plans to extend his contract right now, so Payton is a good late round pick in dynasty superflex drafts. |

Stowers brings speed and athleticism to the field at the tight end position. The Eagles should find ways to get him on the field behind Dallas Goedert. With Goedert hitting free agency in 2027, Stowers can be considered the future at the position. |

| Footballguys view: The two sides have discussed a deal, according to Schefter, but neither has been willing to commit to it before June 1 -- when the Eagles could split Brown's $43 million dead salary cap charge between this year and next. But everything is lining up for a move to happen. The Eagles drafted rookie wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and they also signed three veterans in Elijah Moore, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, and Dontayvion Wicks.
