| Footballguys view: He appeared to suffer a groin injury, but the team didn't give an update. Bigsby didn't do much immediately after replacing Saquon Barkley when he left with a hamstring injury, but he got warmed up in the second half before getting shaken up on a hit from Byron Young. We hope to know more about his status before making final decisions on waiver wire recommendations this week. If Bigsby and Barkley are both out in Week 5, Will Shipley will be a what-the-heck RB2/Flex against the Jaguars. |

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley was injured in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Rams with 11:48 left. He will not return (hamstring).
| Footballguys view: Barkley has left two games with injuries in four weeks. He returned after suffering a shoulder stinger in Week 2, but didn't add much in the second half. This time, he won't have a chance to even do that. Tank Bigsby got most of the work over Will Shipley once Barkley left, and he warmed up down the stretch, but then he appeared to suffer a groin injury late. The Jaguars are up next week, and even though that's a revenge game for Bigsby, he's not going to be more than a flex play next week after the Jaguars smothered the Bengals running game in Week 4 -- that is if he is even available. Will Shipley would be a what-the-heck RB2/Flex if both Barkley and Bigsby are out next week. |

Eagles WR Dontayvion Wicks will take over as the team's top receiver in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Rams with WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) out, and the coaching staff was extremely impressed by how he looked in that role in practice this week. With Smith and WR Hollywood Brown (ankle) out, the Eagles are likely to play Wicks, WR Makai Lemon and WR Darius Cooper the most, with WR Elijah Moore expected to rotate in; Cooper and Moore should see an uptick in playing time. Wicks has 9 catches on 15 targets for 179 yards and a touchdown through three games, second on the team behind Smith in all three categories. "We feel like everyone's capable of shouldering that burden," offensive coordinator Sean Mannion said this week.

A full practice on Saturday means Smith is clearly on track to play on Monday night against the Bears. To say the Bears defense is 'fantasy friendly' might be an understatement, making Smith a WR1 even if he's not quite 100 percent. Meanwhile, the Eagles have ruled out WR Hollywood Brown (ankle), so Smith will see less competition for targets |

If he goes against that defense, a top-10 finish in Week 3 is a distinct possibility - even at less than 100 percent. Resuming practice and then stretching without a jersey (presumably missing practice) is not a good sign for Smith's availability. |

| Footballguys view: Stowers is a rookie we appreciate in dynasty formats, but he was not set to do much for the Eagles this year. Dallas Goedert is the lead tight end, and Stowers was listed as no.3 on the depth chart behind Goedert and Johnny Mundt. Stowers is a move tight end who can attack the middle of the field with speed when healthy. Based on camp reports, it might be a year or two before he realizes his full potential as a pro. |

The team's depth chart for their Week 1 game against the Commanders lists both Tanner McKee and Andy Dalton as the second-string quarterback. Rookie Cole Payton is listed with the third team.
| Footballguys view: McKee has spent the last three seasons with the team and has started in Week 18 the last two seasons. Dalton joined the Eagles in a trade with the Panthers this offseason and has extensive experience as a starter with five teams. As PFT's Josh Alper suggests, if head coach Nick Sirianni does not name a No. 2 quarterback at some point this week, the revelation will likely come when the inactive list is released 90 minutes ahead of kickoff on Sunday. |

Jackson was injured after colliding with the leg of Baltimore Ravens RB Lan Larison on the opening kickoff of Saturday's preseason game. He was carted off the field and taken to the hospital for further evaluation but had strength and movement in all extremities.
