Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (hamstring) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Sept. 18.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (chest) practiced in full for the second straight day on Saturday, Sept. 16, and carries no designation into Week 2.
Footballguys view: The Steelers did not look good against the 49ers in Week 1. They've got to get back on track in Week 2 against the Browns. With Freiermuth good to go, Fantasy GMs can consider him a TE2 with upside in Week 2. |
Pat Freiermuth player page
Pittsburgh Steelers WR George Pickens (hamstring) was added to the injury report and limited on Saturday, Sept. 16, but carries no designation into Week 2.
Footballguys view: The Steelers already have Diontae Johnson out with a hamstring injury in Week 2. Now, Pickens' status is up in the air. He's not questionable, so that's a good thing. However, Pickens might give it a go in pregame warmups to see if he's ready to play. Fantasy GMs need to have other options at the ready. Even if healthy, Pickens is nothing more than a WR3/flex in Week 2 against the Browns. |
Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (hamstring) did not practice for the third straight day on Saturday, Sept. 16, and has been ruled out for Week 2.
Footballguys view: George Pickens has a hamstring injury, and his status for Week 2 is up in the air. That means guys like WR Allen Robinson, WR Calvin Austin, and TE Pat Freiermuth could be tasked with doing more against the Browns on Monday night. |
