Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf (ankle) will play in Week 13, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Footballguys view: Metcalf's minor early-week injuries are usually managed with limited practices or days off, but he tends to ramp up to full participation by the end of the week. His production has been spotty lately, but his upside keeps him in the WR3 or flex conversation.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (wrist) will start for the Steelers in Week 13, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Footballguys view: After missing last week with a broken wrist, Rodgers logged back-to-back practices and is set to return. The injury is to his non-throwing hand, and he'll likely play with a brace. There may be some minor ball-security concerns, but not enough to meaningfully adjust his projections. He's a viable streamer in two-quarterback and superflex leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers DT Daniel Ekuale has been suspended for the next day games without pay for a violation of the league's performance-enhancing substances policy. He has been on the Reserve/Injured list after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament.
Link to storyPittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (wrist) has 'great optimism' surrounding his potential to play in Week 13, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Footballguys view: It didn't appear that Mason Rudolph was a big dropoff from Rodgers in Week 12 at Chicago, but if the Eagles move the ball easily on the Bears banged up defense on Black Friday, we might need to revise that. The Bills defense hasn't been that imposing, so if Rodgers starts, he'll be a consideration as a high floor QB2/Superflex in Week 13.

Link to storyPittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf caught five of eight targets for 22 yards and had two carries for 12 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Footballguys view: Metcalf also left the game briefly with an ankle injury. His score in the red zone made him a decent WR3/Flex play, but he's not going to live up to his fantasy draft cost in an underwhelming Steelers passing game. He's a boom/bust WR3/Flex against the Bills in Week 13.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell ran 10 times for 92 yards with a long of 55 in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears. He also caught all six of his targets for 30 yards.
Footballguys view: Gainwell ran away from the defense for a 55-yard gain to the one on a fake tush push, and he was a frequent safety valve for backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. This big fantasy performance was the first one Gainwell has posted with a full speed Jaylen Warren. Consider him a what-the-heck flex with upside against the Bills in Week 13.
Kenneth Gainwell player page
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren ran 18 times for 68 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Footballguys view: Warren scored, but he is in more of a committee with Kenneth Gainwell that we've seen at his peak fantasy value this season. The Bills can also be vulnerable against the run, so consider Warren a high floor Flex play for Week 13.
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph completed 24-of-31 for 171 yards with a touchdown, interception and a fumble in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Footballguys view: Rudolph played better than his numbers, but the Steelers offense still should have been more productive against a Bears defense that was starting backups at linebacker and suffered more defensive injuries during the game. The Eagles should be able to put up a lot of yards and points against Chicago in Week 13, while we'll wait to see if Rudolph or Aaron Rodgers start for the Steelers against the Bills.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Smith gets a lot of early-week rest days, but he'll play Sunday against the Bears. A three-way tight-end rotation has mostly pushed Smith out of fantasy relevance.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Warren left Week 11's game with an ankle injury but quickly downplayed it. There were concerns it was more serious after he was unable to practice on Wednesday, but he's cleared for Sunday. Kenneth Gainwell has been reliable this year, yet the team clearly prefers Warren between the two. He's a high-end RB2 this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf (non-injury) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 21, but is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Footballguys view: Mike Tomlin is always liberal with veteran rest days for his top players. Metcalf should play Sunday against the Bears and profiles as a boom-or-bust WR3.

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (wrist) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 12.
Footballguys view: "Rodgers suffered a broken wrist on his non-throwing hand last week but has been seen practicing with a brace this week. He has a long history of dominating the Chicago Bears, and there's likely some extra motivation to suit up this week. However, given the severity of the injury, it's hard to confidently speculate on his availability. Mike Tomlin was tight-lipped after practice, saying, "I thought I saw a solid effort, but it's Friday, and so we still got some time." We'll hope for more information before Sunday's early kickoff. Regardless, Rodgers is only on the fantasy radar in two-quarterback and superflex leagues."

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (thumb) is questionable for Week 12 against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.
Footballguys view: Knowing Rodgers' history against the Bears, there's probably a bit of extra motivation for him to play in this game. His injury is to his non-throwing hand, and he's expressed some optimism about suiting up. If Rodgers is active, he's worth consideration in two-quarterback and superflex leagues, but you can likely do better in single-quarterback lineups this week. If Rodgers can't go, Mason Rudolph should get the start.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 20.
Footballguys view: Warren is trending in the right direction after a DNP on Wednesday. He's set to play in Week 12 against the Bears. Fantasy GMs can look to Warren as an RB2/flex play.

Footballguys view: It's a non-throwing arm wrist injury for Rodgers. He might miss some time as he recovers, or the seasoned veteran might barely practice this week and play on Sunday. The Steelers are traveling to face the Bears in Week 12. Mason Rudolph would get the start if Rodgers can't go.
