Footballguys view: Jackson is back this week...we hope. Things were trending for him to return in Week 8, then the Ravens pulled the plug and started Tyler Huntley. The Ravens play the Dolphins on Thursday night, and Jackson is in line to produce like his usual QB1.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson says he's finally ready to get back on the field Thursday night against the Dolphins, and he's thrilled about that. "Extremely excited. Can't wait to touch the grass with my guys. It's been a while," Jackson said today.
Footballguys view: Jackson injured his hamstring one month ago in a loss to the Chiefs, and he said it was tough having to stay out, but he said he now feels great and appreciates the Ravens' training staff working with him every day to get him right. Asked if he'll have to be more aware of his injured hamstring on Thursday night, Jackson said that won't be his focus. "I don't foresee any of that," Jackson said. "I'm focused on winning." We'll continue to follow up, but Jackson immediately moves back into the top five at his position this week.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) was at practice on Tuesday, Oct. 28. It was his fifth straight practice he has participated in.
Footballguys view: Jackson practiced in full on Monday, and head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Monday night that his star quarterback would return to action after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury. Jackson moves right into the top five at his position -- perhaps even at the high end of that range this week, Miami's impressive defensive outing against the Falcons on Sunday notwithstanding. We'll continue to watch this one, but it appears Jackson is fully on track.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) fully participated in practice Monday, Oct. 27. The team only held a walkthrough Monday, so this is an estimation.
Footballguys view: As Profootballtalk.com reminded readers, Jackson's status for Sunday's game against the Bears was a source of some confusion over the weekend, but head coach John Harbaugh was a little clearer about how things look for this week. Harbaugh said the plan is for Jackson to play against the Dolphins on Thursday night. "I feel very confident," Harbaugh said at a Monday press conference. "I feel very confident about it. We expect him to be out there Thursday night." Stay tuned. We'll be watching this closely right up through kickoff, starting with his final injury designation on Wednesday.

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers caught seven passes for 63 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. He was targeted nine times during the game and also rushed for eight yards on one carry.
Footballguys view: Flowers has been able to scrape out useful results in PPR leagues while Lamar Jackson has been sitting for the last three games. This result makes you feel more comfortable playing Flowers on Thursday against the Dolphins whether Jackson is ready to play or not.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries against the Chicago Bears in Week 8.
Footballguys view: Henry didn't really get on track in this one, but in a stark contrast to the previous two games without Lamar Jackson, he had a good fantasy game because of the quality of his quarterback and defense's efforts. Henry is still a high ceiling RB1 heading into a Thursday night game against a Dolphins defense that just bottled up Bijan Robinson.

Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley went 17-for-22 for 186 yards and one touchdown against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. He also rushed for 53 yards on eight carries during the game.
Footballguys view: We did not have Tyler Huntley saving the Ravens season on our bingo card. A loss would have put the team at 1-6, creating very little margin for error in the second half of the season. Huntley was magnificent as a passer, completing 14 of his first 15 passes. He picked his spots as a scrambler to move the chains and keep the offense on schedule. Along the way, Huntley compiled a decent stat line as an emergency streamer/QB2/Superflex and allowed the Ravens and their fanbase to calm down a little with Lamar Jackson hopefully back on Thursday to face the Dolphins. If Jackson can't play, Huntley will again be a viable streamer/QB2/Superflex option.

The National Football League is currently reviewing the situation that led to Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) being ruled out for Week 8's game against the Chicago Bears. Jackson had been listed as a full participant for the practice session held Friday, Oct. 24, but his status was changed to being a limited participant Saturday, Oct. 25, because he had been working with the scout team and did not take starter reps. At the same time that Jackson had his Friday practice status adjusted, the Ravens downgraded his game status from questionable to out.

Link to storyConfirming a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley will start Week 8's game versus the Chicago Bears, as a result of QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) having been ruled out, according to multiple league sources.
Footballguys view: Without Jackson, the Ravens had been starting Cooper Rush - with bad results. Huntley should be better than Rush, but it's still a big downgrade for pass-catchers in this offense. We can only recommend Huntley as an option in super deep start-2 QB/superflex leagues.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) was downgraded from a full practice participant to a limited participant for Friday, Oct. 24, and he has been ruled out for Week 8's game against the Chicago Bears.
Footballguys view: Things were trending for Jackson to return in Week 8. Getting downgraded on Friday means he's out, and the Ravens will turn to Tyler Huntley as their starter. Huntley has to be better than Cooper Rush, but we're not as excited about the Ravens' passing game without Jackson. There's a chance Jackson is going to return in Week 9 on Thursday night against the Dolphins.

Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers (shoulder) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 24, and no longer appears on the injury report.
Footballguys view: Flowers' ceiling has been capped with Lamar Jackson out. His potential return in Week 8 should help Flowers return to form as the dominant WR1 he was early in the year. We're ranking him as our WR9 this week against the Bears, putting him firmly in must-start territory.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 24, and is questionable for Week 8 against the Chicago Bears. CB Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring), WR Zay Flowers (shoulder), S Kyle Hamilton (groin), WR DeAndre Hopkins (illness), CB Marlon Humphrey (illness), FB Patrick Ricard (calf), LB Roquan Smith (hamstring), and WR Devontez Walker (oblique) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears after practicing all week.
Footballguys view: Jackson has practiced in a limited capacity all week and was trending towards playing. His hamstring injury could limit his rushing, but the Ravens, currently sitting at 1-5, desperately need a win. In addition to making it through this week, the Ravens will have a quick turnaround with a Thursday night matchup against the Dolphins in Week 9. It's hard to fade Jackson in weekly rankings, as his upside is as high as anyone else's, but there's admitted risk this week due to his possible limitations.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) practiced for a second straight day on Thursday, Oct. 23.
Footballguys view: More good news for the Ravens here. Jackson is looking to return to the field in Week 8. The Ravens are 1-5, but they're not out of it - yet. Their schedule could help them charge back into the playoff mix as a Wild Card team. Anything is possible, but this team needs Jackson to be starting and they need to start playing better football in order to make a run.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) might not be able to return until Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Footballguys view: The Ravens are coming out of their bye, and Jackson has gotten two limited practices in this week. They likely want to see him get a full practice in, and Jackson could do that on Friday. If he does practice fully on Friday, Jackson is a QB1 if starting in Week 8.
