Baltimore Ravens WR DeAndre Hopkins said he wants to play at least one more season.
Footballguys view: The one-year, $5 million contract Hopkins signed last March expires when the new league year begins in 2026. With Jesse Minter as the new head coach, Hopkins' future with the club is uncertain at best. Hopkins was the Ravens' third option behind Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews. Hopkins' 37 targets were similar to Rashod Bateman (38) and Isaiah Likely (35) as he logged 22 catches for 330 yards and two touchdowns, career lows in nearly every significant receiving category. It's hard to justify a similar salary this year.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is expected to have contract extension talks with the Ravens this offseason, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo.
Footballguys view: This will be a situation to watch closely, as it took a long time for general manager Eric DeCosta to find common ground with Jackson (who does not retain an agent) during his last contract negotiation. Jackson is going to be a free agent in 2027 and an extension would make his cap hits more manageable over the next two years, but the team let his quarterback coach Tee Martin go, and it appears they also believe he was to blame for some of the team's underachievement even though John Harbaugh took the fall for the recent pattern of perennial disappointment.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry recorded his fourth season with at least 1,500 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns and 5.0 yards per carry in 2025, and Jim Brown is the only other play with two such seasons.
Footballguys view: Henry is still playing his best football, and that's likely to continue going forward. He can be the centerpiece of the Ravens new-look offense. Jesse Minter is the new head coach, and he's tasked Declan Doyle with running the Ravens on the offensive side of the ball. Doyle worked under both Sean Payton and Ben Johnson, so it will be interesting to see the type of offense he'll craft with guys like Henry and Lamar Jackson.

Link to storyBaltimore Ravens DT Travis Jones led the team with five sacks. However, head coach Jesse Minter is expected to address the pass-rush situation in the offseason, adding more pressure with perhaps multiple extra rushers. Minter didn't bring extra rushers often, as Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator, blitzing at just a 20.4% rate last season, third-lowest in the NFL.

The Baltimore Ravens are expected to hire Anthony Weaver as their defensive coordinator, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.
Footballguys view: Weaver, 45, returns to Baltimore after being the Dolphins' defensive coordinator for the past two seasons. This marks the third stint in Baltimore for Weaver, who was a DE for the Ravens from 2002 to 2005 and was Baltimore's defensive line coach from 2021 to 2023. Although Weaver will hold the title of defensive coordinator, new Ravens head coach Jesse Minter will call the defensive plays for Baltimore. Last season, Baltimore's defense ranked 24th in the NFL, which was only the third time in the past 25 years that the Ravens defense finished in the bottom half of the league.
