Looking to dominate your office pool this season? Eighteen Footballguys.com staff members are here to help you out. Each week they will pick the winners of every NFL game, and rank their selections based on how confident they are that the team will win. The most-confident pick gets 16 points, and the least-confident gets just 1. We'll even total up everyone's picks so you can get an overall consensus on who our staff think will be the most likely winners. Each week we'll announce the weekly winners, and track the overall record for the entire season. A couple of things to note before we get to the picks:

  • Picks for this pool are straight up (no point spread considered).
  • Picks are due on Wednesday nights, and will not reflect any late-breaking news. If your league allows for last-minute changes, please make adjustments to your office pool accordingly.
  • Our staffers also play in weekly picks Against The Spread, and Survivor Style 'Pick one Winner each week' formats as well. Check out the other weekly articles for more help with those types of games.

RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK

Last week we had another close finish with the weekly winner being decided after the Monday Night Football game. Will Grant hung on to edge out Devin Knotts 79-78 despite both staffers taking Cleveland to beat the 49ers. Grant and Knotts both had 10 correct picks, but Knotts had more points riding on the Browns winning which ultimately cost him the weekly win.

Chicago kicked off the upsets of the week, with Bitonti being the only staffer taking the Raiders to win the London game. Kansas City's unexpected loss to the Colts on the road was the biggest upset of the week, taking down well over 200 confidence points when the Colts won. Add in the Chargers loss to the Broncos and those three teams took out 545 combined confidence points in a week that was already short due to two teams being on a bye.

OVERALL RANKINGS

Larkin and Brimacombe finished in the bottom half of the weekly winners, but they tied with 68 points each, keeping the top of the leaderboard the same. Knotts moved into sole possession of 3rd place and the rest of the leaderboard gained a little ground on the top teams. 22 points separate the top 11 teams now as we move into week 6.
