Browns | Trouble off the field for Quinshon Judkins Sat Jul 12, 10:31 PM
Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins was arrested on a charge of domestic violence and battery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, July 12, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police department.

Running back Quinshon Judkins, a second-round pick in April, has been arrested in Florida. Via the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Judkins is being held for the following charges: "Touch or strike/battery/domestic violence."
Footballguys view: The news comes after the arrest report began circulating on X. Judkins apparently remains in custody. The arrest happened on Saturday. The 36th overall pick in the draft, Judkins is one of 30 unsigned second-round picks. The issue is guaranteed money in their four-year deals. As PFT notes, beyond his contract situation, the incident makes Judkins susceptible to potential discipline by the league under the Personal Conduct Policy. Even though he has yet to sign a contract with the Browns, he falls within the scope of the policy. We'll follow up as further details come to light. |
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. caught a pass of at least 50 yards five times during the 2024 season, which was tied for the NFL lead in that category.

Carolina Panthers TE Mitchell Evans may have a role in the offense early in the season if TE Tommy Tremble (back) is not ready to play, in the opinion of PanthersWire's Anthony Rizzuti.
Link to storyTennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears rushed for at least 12 yards in only two of his 84 carries during the 2024 NFL season.
Footballguys view: Things should open up for Spears and Tony Pollard on the ground with QB Cam Ward under center. Defenses are going to dare Ward to beat them as a passer, but they'll also be focused on stopping him as a runner too. That could create more space for the running backs. All reports this offseason have been positive about Spears, and there's plenty of buzz about him getting more touches in 2025...although Spears and Pollard will still be sharing the workload. |

Free-agent RB Nyheim Hines (Browns) said he believes he can help a team right away as a kick or punt returner and hopes to have a chance to earn a role in the offense after learning the playbook.
Footballguys view: Hines (knee) believes his knee is ready for NFL action almost two years to the date he tore his ACL in a jet-ski accident. His experience on special teams and ability as a receiver out of the backfield will get interest from teams out there looking for a veteran back. With the Colts and Bills in 2022, Hines caught 30 passes for 241 yards and one touchdown, and also returned 19 kicks for 554 yards and two scores. |

Denver Broncos second round draft choice RB RJ Harvey has not signed his rookie contract as this point even though the Broncos rookies are scheduled to report for training camp Wednesday, July 16.
Footballguys view: Deals get done at deadlines, so we'll have to circle back here in the middle of next week. Harvey is expected to split time with JK Dobbins in the Broncos backfield. The rookie from UCF was a player the Broncos added in the second round, and HC Sean Payton is really excited about his potential. While Harvey is not Payton's new Alvin Kamara, he could at least perform similarly to the way Darren Sproles did with the Saints. That sort of role comes with flex appeal for Fantasy GMs. |
Free-agent DT Ndamukong Suh (Eagles) announced his retirement from professional football Saturday, July 12.
Footballguys view: Suh last played football for the Eagles in 2022. He was a dominant player at his best, and Suh ends his career as a five-time All Pro player and Super Bowl (LV) champion. In 13 NFL seasons with five teams, Suh compiled 71.5 sacks, 600 combined tackles, and 214 QB hits. |
Ndamukong Suh player page
Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix said he has been talking a lot with TE Evan Engram this offseason and is excited to have him join the offense this season.
Footballguys view: We haven't even really seen the real Bo Nix, even though as a rookie he was outstanding down the stretch. Now, Nix gets more talent around him like a quality rushing attack, more receivers than just Courtland Sutton, and a real threat at tight end in Engram. While Engram may not produce like he used to, he's still an incredible upgrade who could catch around 69 passes for the Broncos in 2025. |
Evan Engram player page
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews was targeted 69 times in 2024, and QB Lamar Jackson had a 140.9 pass rating on those throws.
Footballguys view: Even though we're all waiting for a breakout season from Isaiah Likely, Andrews is still there as the top tight end in Baltimore. He struggled at times last year, but Andrews still has the trust of Jackson. There were rumblings about Andrews being a trade target before the draft, but nothing came to fruition. In the final year of his contract, Andrews is still a mid-range TE1 for fantasy purposes. |

Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs averaged 5.65 yards per carry during the 2024 season, which ranked third in the NFL in that category.
Footballguys view: Many factors come into play when looking at the healthy YPC Gibbs gets on the ground. First, he's one of the most explosive players in the league at any position. Next, Gibbs is great when it comes to juking defenders and creating his own space with speed and quickness. Also, the Lions have a great passing game so Gibbs rarely faces a stacked box full of defenders tasked with stopping the run. Expect Gibbs to continue gashing defenses for around five yards per carry in 2025. |
Jahmyr Gibbs player page
Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy does not know if he will be used as a punt returner this season but believes he can have success in the role if asked.
Footballguys view: Worthy is a blur when he gets to top speed. That helps him on offense when taking the top off the defense, but it also can help him on special teams as a return man. As a rookie in 2024, Worthy only saw the field on offense. However, if the Chiefs want him to work as a return man he's got the skill set to do so. |
Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride has caught six total touchdown passes in his three seasons in the NFL.
Footballguys view: McBride is arguably the best tight end in the NFL, but his lack of touchdowns is frustrating to some Fantasy GMs. Don't blame McBride, but instead look to QB Kyler Murray. McBride should have over 100 catches and over 1,000 yards again this year, and if Murray can find him more near pay dirt those touchdowns should rise. Projecting McBride for 4-5 touchdowns in 2025 seems right, and he's currently at TE2 in ADP. |
Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta was targeted 19 times in the red zone in 2024, finishing with 11 catches for 80 yards and five touchdowns.
Footballguys view: Expect more of the same this year. LaPorta has a current ADP of TE4, and Fantasy GMs love that he's such a threat near the end zone. QB Jared Goff loves looking for LaPorta when the team needs a score, and that's unlikely to change in 2025. |

During a brief period this offseason when FB Kyle Juszczyk was a free agent after being released by the San Francisco 49ers, he visited the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although he was impressed with the Steeler organization, Juszczyk had been told by 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan that there was a possibility that he could return to them. 'It was a different experience,' Juszczyk said of his meeting with Pittsburgh. 'It was a chance to go look at a different team and I felt a lot of love from them. I got excited for a second about what possibly could be, about new beginnings and fitting into a new offense, all that type of stuff. And I genuinely enjoyed my time with Arthur Smith and Mike Tomlin so much. I have so much respect for those guys. But at the end of the day, it just wasn't enough to trump what I had in San Francisco. I just couldn't pull the plug.'

Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle said he spent the offseason working on his hand-eye coordination and on developing more chemistry with QB Tua Tagovailoa.
Footballguys view: Waddle had six drops last year, a career low but also a team high in 2024. He's getting an opportunity to line up as the no.1 receiver with Tyreek Hill (wrist) sidelined during offseason workouts. That's helped Waddle and Tagovailoa build stronger chemistry this spring. We'll see if that work carries momentum over to training camp, preseason, and the regular season. Waddle has a current ADP of WR30, meaning he's a flex option on a weekly basis...but the upside is there for him to outperform that position. |

Minnesota Vikings QB Max Brosmer earned praise from head coach Kevin O'Connell during organized team activities for his decision making and ability to grasp the team's offense. 'I think Max is as smart as any young player that I've been around,' O'Connell said, 'from a standpoint of (the fact that he) really hadn't been exposed to a lot of reps this spring but his ownership of the information (is) kind of right on par.'
Link to storyLos Angeles Chargers WR Tre Harris, who remains unsigned, will not report to training camp with the rest of the team's rookies Saturday, July 12, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Footballguys view: Harris, the Chargers second-round pick out of Ole Miss, is a player who lines up on the outside and can win on slants. The Chargers are hoping for more vertical attack this year, but Harris isn't going to win with speed against NFL corners. Instead, Harris has build-up speed and plays like a basketball player where he knows how to use his frame to box out smaller defenders. We'll see if the two sides can agree to a contract before the veterans report to training camp. |
Dan Duggan, from The Athletic, reports there were no indications of any changes to New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson's usage during offseason practices.
Footballguys view: Robinson played almost 78 percent of his snaps last year from the slot, and that's where he seems to be again in offseason workouts. Fantasy GMs don't buy what Robinson suggested earlier this year when he said he expects to move around a lot more in 2025. He's currently going off the board at WR68 after finishing last year as WR44 in PPR leagues. |
Adam Schefter, from ESPN, reports the Chicago Bears have reached a three-year contract extension with GM Ryan Poles.
Footballguys view: Now both Poles and new HC Ben Johnson are under contract through the 2029 season. Ownership is giving these two time to put together a championship roster, and this offseason, there have been some impressive moves on paper. Poles has his fair share of misses as general manager, so tying him to Johnson and seeing what these two can do makes sense. |
Detroit Lions DE Aidan Hutchinson (leg) is 'exactly where I need to be (physically)' in regards to his recovery from the broken fibula and tibia he suffered in October of 2024.'I'm exactly where I need to be. Every year I've been able to improve on my own physical attributes along with the mental ones, so I feel like every year I take a step. Despite having that rehab this offseason, I feel like I'm in the perfect spot and exactly where I need to be going into Year 4,' Hutchinson told CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson recently.
Footballguys view: Hutchinson went down with this serious leg injury in Week 6 and missed the remainder of the season. At the end of May 2025, Hutchinson was "fully cleared" to return from the fractured tibia and fibula he suffered in 2024. With two years left on his contract, the Lions may get in front of the situation with a potential extension. Now that he's healthy, Hutchinson should again be one of the best rushers in the NFL. |
San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey 'looks incredible ... and so explosive,' according to FB Kyle Juszczyk.
Footballguys view: It's a small quote, and these are the type of things often heard in the offseason. "Player A" in the best shape of his life! "Player B" going to be better than ever! That's all nice and well, but with McCaffrey everyone already knows how talented he is at full strength. Fantasy GMs who are taking McCaffrey near the end of the first round (current ADP of RB5) will have to have a plan in place if he misses more time. Isaac Guerendo is in line to be McCaffrey's primary backup in 2025. |
Christian McCaffrey player page
Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris (eye) is likely to miss the start of training camp due to the eye injury suffered from a fireworks mishap.
Footballguys view: Harris will be ready to go by the start of the regular season. If he misses time at the beginning of camp that gives rookie first-round pick Omarion Hampton a larger chance to impress. The Chargers are going to have a full-fledged RBBC in a Jim Harbaugh run-heavy offense. That means Harris and Hampton will share the workload, frustrate Fantasy GMs, and likely each produce as flex options due to this split. |

Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin has been talking with head coach Dan Quinn this offseason even though he skipped offseason workouts and the mandatory minicamp, according to Bleacher Report's James Palmer.
Footballguys view: Palmer said McLaurin is not believed to be looking to reset the receiver market. This is a good sign, and deals tend to get done at deadlines. McLaurin is entering the final year of a three-year extension he signed in 2022, and he's on the books with a $25.5MM cap hit (and $14MM in dead money). Reports suggest McLaurin may be seeking a contract that pays him around $30MM annually. Training camp for the Commanders begins on July 22. |

Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears looked explosive during offseason workouts and is expected to receive a bigger role in the offense this upcoming season, in the opinion of TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt.
Footballguys view: Earlier this year, Titans HC Brian Callahan said "I think we can do a better job managing that load so they both play a little more evenly" when discussing how the team could split time with Spears and Tony Pollard. Spears is a complete back, but the Titans have primarily used him on passing downs. We'll see if that changes this year, and we've got Spears at RB41 in our consensus rankings. |

Jacksonville Jaguars WR/CB Travis Hunter 'may be that special guy that we have never seen before ... but there is so much detail in (the Jacksonville) offense that he has to learn,' according to long-time NFL analyst Greg Cosell.'Liam Coen's offense, assuming he's a wide receiver first, which apparently he is, there is a ton of motion, there's a ton of formations, he's got to learn all of that. So, again, he may be that special guy that we've never seen before. I'm not going to sit here and say he can't do it, but there is so much detail in that offense that he has to learn. He can't sit in two meetings at the same time,' Cosell said recently on The Ross Tucker Podcast.
Footballguys view: Cosell is essentially saying what everyone else does; Hunter is a special player, but it's a lot to ask for anyone to play full time on both sides of the ball. He was able to do that at Colorado, but the NFL is a more intense game. We assume Hunter will be primarily used on offense as a rookie, and as the Jaguars no.2 receiver, he's got flex appeal for Fantasy GMs. |
San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (knee) could be ahead of schedule in his rehab, and there's a small chance he could be ready for Week 1, according to team insider Matt Maiocco on KNBR 680. 'I hear he's doing really well,'I hear that the knee is even ahead of schedule,' Maiocco said. 'Also, from what I understand, is it's not out of the question that he could be ready Week 1. I think the feeling inside the organization has always been don't take any chances, start him off on PUP when they report to training camp July 22, and then more than likely, just have that carry over into the regular season.'
Footballguys view: We should see Aiyuk begin training camp on the PUP list, which gives the team the option to begin Aiyuk on the PUP list to begin the regular season. The veteran receiver is working his way back from the torn ACL and MCL he suffered in Week 7 last season. He's unlikely to look like himself until the midway point of the 2025 regular season - at the earliest. Aiyuk has a current ADP of WR47. |

Atlanta Falcons WR Nick Nash could be on the outside looking in when final cuts are announced later this summer since the Falcons appear to be in 'a pretty good spot in regards to their receiver room,' according to Tori McElhaney of the team's website.
Footballguys view: A converted quarterback at San Jose State, Nash was almost exclusively a slot receiver for San Jose State. The Falcons added him as a UDFA, and he's a long shot to make the 53-man roster. However, his size/nose for the end zone combination coupled with his high football intelligence means a spot on the practice squad could be in his future. In crazy deep dynasty formats, we'll monitor Nash's career. |
Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is attempting to become only the seventh quarterback since the merger to lead the league in touchdown passes in consecutive seasons. He would join Terry Bradshaw (1981-82), Dan Marino (1984-86), Jim Everett (1988-89), Steve Young (1992-94), Brett Favre (1995-97) and Drew Brees (2008-09 and 2011-12).
Footballguys view: Burrow has the talent to do that, and he's got one of the league's best group of pass-catching weapons around him. Add in the fact the Bengals defense should struggle, and that means the offense is going to have to put their foot on the gas. Burrow has a current ADP of QB4 and is going off the board in the third or fourth round in many drafts. |

San Francisco 49ers WR Demarcus Robinson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor DUI charge and was sentenced to three years' probation. He also was ordered to pay a $390 fine and to complete court-mandated programs, including a three-month alcohol education program, according to multiple media outlets that cited court records.
Footballguys view: Now that the legal process has concluded, Robinson needs to wait and see if the NFL suspends him. 49ers GM John Lynch said the team knew that Robinson could draw a suspension for his DUI arrest when they signed him. Some reporters believe Robinson could be suspended early in the season. If that's the case, the 49ers (with Brandon Aiyuk recovering from his ACL injury) could be using Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall quite a bit at the beginning of the season. |
Demarcus Robinson player page
Los Angeles Rams fourth-round pick RB Jarquez Hunter was eighth in FBS last season with 42 explosive rushes. He had the second-highest explosive rush rate (10+ yards) among FBS backs with more than 150 carries last year.
Footballguys view: Hunter was a stud running back for Auburn, and now he brings that speed and never-say-die attitude to the Rams. With his speed, Hunter led the SEC with 6.4 yards per carry in 2024. Hunter also had plenty of explosive plays, with 42 carries of 10 yards or more (sixth most in the FBS last year). The Rams traded up for Hunter in the fourth round, but as a rookie he'll have to carve out what could be a limited amount of playing time behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. |
Los Angeles Rams RB Blake Corum showed explosiveness in organized team activities, according to running backs coach Ron Gould. 'He's gotten his speed back, so his explosiveness has come back,' Gould said. 'We had a chance to just see that, and then his ability to come out of cuts, which is something that we saw in the junior year and part of his senior year.' Corum has displayed more explosive tendencies during training camp than he did last season.
Footballguys view: Corum is in line to be the primary backup to Kyren Williams. He's going to have to compete with rookie Jarquez Hunter for that spot, and it sounds like the second-year pro is impressing this offseason. We'll watch this competition in training camp and the preseason. Even though Corum's rookie season was 'meh' (3.6 yards per carry will do that), we still like him in dynasty formats. |
Tennessee Titans TE Josh Whyle 'needs to step things up' during training camp if he wants to hold on to a roster spot, according to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com.
Footballguys view: Whyle is competing for the backup spot to Chig Okonkwo, and he's off the fantasy radar. The third-year pro will have to beat out talented rookie Gunnar Helm for the no.2 job. We like Helm in dynasty formats, and he's got some Pat Freiermuth to his game. Helm's size and ability to get open is going to give him more upside than Whyle, but the rookie will have to prove himself in training camp and the preseason. |
Josh Whyle player page
Philadelphia Eagles RB AJ Dillon's 'isn't even a sure-shot' to make the 53-man roster, according to Geoff Mosher of PhillyVoice.com.
Footballguys view: No surprise here. The Eagles have Saquon Barkley atop the depth chart, and Will Shipley may be the primary backup. Shipley and Dillon will compete for that spot, but Dillon lacks the three-down ability the team may be looking for in that role. Dillon's best bet to a roster spot is to prove himself as a short-yardage and goal line option for the Eagles. |
Tennessee Titans RB Kalel Mullings (undisclosed) is expected to be a full participant when training camp starts despite missing some offseason work because of an undisclosed injury.
Footballguys view: A converted linebacker at Michigan, Mullings was an absolute hammer playing running back for two seasons with the Wolverines. He brings that size and power to the NFL, and the rookie could be the best short-yardage and goal line option for the Titans. That means we could be looking at a three-headed RBBC with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. |
Los Angeles Rams WR Davante Adams said he has put in a lot of work with QB Matthew Stafford this offseason. 'Quite a bit. We got right to it. Had a really productive offseason,' Adams said. 'I've worked probably some of the hardest I've worked, just feeling really rejuvenated and ready to go win some games.'
Footballguys view: Stafford and Adams should be a fine combination for the Rams. The defense should be paying a lot of attention to Puka Nacua, and Adams should be able to take advantage of that coverage. Adams has a current ADP of WR19, and in this offense he could outperform that draft position. |
Davante Adams player page
Miami Dolphins TE Darren Waller was activated from the Reserve/Retired list Wednesday, July 9.
Footballguys view: Waller came out of retirement because he wanted to play for the Dolphins. He is now in a room with Pharaoh Brown, Jalin Conyers, and Julian Hill. Waller is clearly the best pass-catching option at the position for the Dolphins, and so long as QB Tua Tagovailoa is healthy, they will continue to have an explosive passing game. His current ADP is TE28, but expect that to rise during training camp and the preseason as Fantasy GMs should get more excited about his role as the season draws closer. |
Darren Waller player page
Free-agent RB Nyheim Hines (Browns) could receive interest from the Philadelphia Eagles once he is healthy, in the opinion of EaglesWire's Victor Williams. Hines has played under head coach Nick Sirianni when they were both with the Indianapolis Colts.
Footballguys view: The Eagles are constantly looking for talent, even as one of the most talented teams in the league. Hines would give the Eagles a veteran receiving back to fill in if/when Saquon Barkley needs a breather. Right now, that job likely goes to Will Shipley. |
Nyheim Hines player page
Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams caught five passes of at least 50 yards during the 2024 season, which was tied for the NFL lead in that category. He also ranked second in the NFL by averaging 17.3 yards per reception.
Footballguys view: This should be even more on display in 2025 with new OC John Morton. We'll see the Lions as a deep-striking team with Morton calling the shots, and that's good news for a guy like Williams. He's entering the fourth year of his rookie contract, ahead of his fifth-year option, and there are rumblings that he could be on the trade block before his deal is up. Another productive year for Williams in one of the league's best offenses could help increase his trade value. Stay tuned. |
Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has caught at least five passes in 49 regular season games through his first four seasons in the NFL.
Footballguys view: St. Brown is one of the best in the game, and he's a darling in the fantasy community. Consistency is the name of his game, and that's why he's drafted in the first round near the turn. Currently, St. Brown has an ADP of WR6 and he could once again be a top-5 fantasy receiver when all is said and done. |
Amon-Ra St. Brown player page
Los Angeles Chargers TE Tyler Conklin should see plenty of playing time this upcoming season even though TE Will Dissly is expected to be the starting tight end, in the opinion of ChargersWire's Spencer Schultz.
Footballguys view: The Chargers have a tight end situation that bears monitoring. We love the upside of rookie TE Orande Gadsen, but it's going to take time for him to develop at the pro level. That leaves Conklin and fellow veteran TE Will Dissly to work in some form of committee. Fantasy GMs aren't going to be in a rush to draft a Chargers tight end. However, if one of these three emerges as the main guy, then there's some bye week/injury help here. Keep them on your waiver wire speed dial. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Charlie Heck is expected to start at left tackle while OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) is sidelined.
Link to storyMiami Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright likely will be asked to take a bigger workload this upcoming season and may be used as a inside runner in the offense, in the opinion of DolphinsWire's Jason Sarney.
Footballguys view: We are excited to see more from Wright. The Dolphins have a ton of speed on offense, and Wright fits that bill. With a current ADP of RB52, we love drafting and stashing Wright to see what he can do this year. He'll begin the season as the primary backup to De'Von Achane but it sounds like there might be some work for him here (that could make him fantasy relevant) even if Achane is healthy. |
Miami Dolphins WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is expected to give the offense something it has not had in recent years: a big-bodied receiver who can help the offense improve last year's 56.6% touchdown rate in the red zone.'He's going to be extremely reliable. I think ultimately if you talk to the guys that knew him in Tennessee and our exposure so far has been consistent work ethic. I think that's ultimately where he puts himself in position to be successful is because he really is a student of the process, making sure he's on the little things so, therefore, on Sundays he can be reliable for the quarterback and really the rest of the offense,' Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith said.
Footballguys view: Westbrook-Ikhine brings another downfield threat to the Dolphins offense, and that's why they signed him to a two-year deal earlier this year. He's coming off a career-high nine receiving touchdowns, but the Dolphins offense is significantly more exciting than the Titans were last year. That means Westbrook-Ikhine could be a nice boom-bust play for Fantasy GMs with weekly 'what the heck' flex appeal. |

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley moves and cuts in a way that rookie QB Cam Ward has never seen any receiver move and cut before.'(Ridley is) different. How he moves, everything. Now that I see what a receiver is supposed to be like, that's why I'm glad that Eli (Elic Ayomanor), Chim (Chimere Dike), Strep (Xavier Restrepo), Bryce (Oliver), all the guys in that room, I'm glad they got him because I ain't never threw to no receiver like him, who move like him, can cut like him ... he ain't selfish either. He wants the rookies, all of us, to do better than him because he's gonna end up getting his one-on-ones,' Ward said recently.Ridley's career has become a bit of an odyssey in recently, most of which is through no fault of his own. The primary thing that held him back last year was lackluster quarterback play. In 2023, he was forced into more of an X role due to injuries when his skill set is a better fit as a 'Z.' He missed 2022 due to a gambling suspension and only played five games the season before, making his 90-1,374-9 season in 2020 a bit of a distant memory. With Ward expected to raise the level of quarterback play in Tennessee, Ridley could easily be a top-20 receiver in fantasy this season.
Footballguys view: Ward is an exciting quarterback, and the no.1 overall pick is going to be fun to watch - even through the learning curve that will be his rookie season. Finding his favorite targets in training camp and the preseason could benefit Fantasy GMs out there, especially because some will overlook the Titans passing game. The Titans could be hot-and-cold this year, depending on Ward's progress as a rookie, so if you want to take that ride, then Ridley could pay off in those hot weeks. |

Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Tristan Wirfs (knee) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will begin the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Link to storyLos Angeles Chargers RB Kimani Vidal 'will have to shine in other areas' in order to lock down the No. 3 role behind Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris, in the opinion of Chargers Wire's Spencer Schultz.
Footballguys view: We appreciate Vidal's game, especially because he brings a different skill set to the field than the top-2 backs (Harris and Hampton) on the roster. Vidal is a compact player with good receiving ability in the open field. In addition to what he does as a receiver (and as a runner), Vidal will have to prove himself in pass protection and perhaps get some work in on special teams to lock down the no.3 role for the Chargers. |
