Gameday Updates

Weather Note

December 14, 2025, 10:09 ET

Remember that weather is already considered when we create our projections. Be careful not to double-count when making lineup decisions.

That said, it's going to be very cold in a lot of places today.

Cleveland at Chicago - 10 degrees (-1 feels like)
Baltimore at Cincinnati - 12 degrees (-4 feels like)
LA Chargers at Kansas City - 16 degrees
(MNF) Miami at Pittsburgh - 19 degrees (10 feels like)

In general, field goal kicking and passing are tougher at these temperatures, while running the ball gets easier.

There should be a couple of snow games too.

Buffalo at New England - 31 degrees
Las Vegas at Philadelphia - 28 degrees

SF - RB Christian McCaffrey Expected To Be "Good To Go"

December 14, 2025, 07:36 ET

Adam Schefter reported, "Despite being added to the injury report today (Saturday) as questionable due to a back injury, 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is expected to be “good to go” Sunday vs. the Titans, per source.

Ian Rapoport reported, "49ers RB Christian McCaffrey, a late addition to the injury report because of a back issue, should be good to go for Sunday, source said."

It's a 4:25 PM ET kickoff for McCaffrey today. Meaning we likely won't have official word until around 3:00 PM ET. The vibe feels like this is not cause for major worry, but we all remember Week 1 with Monday Night Football last year. Schefter and Rapoport are as professional as you can get, and they both are reporting McCaffrey is good to go. Still though, if he's your guy, have a pivot plan available just to be safe.
