Scouting Report
De'Zhaun Stribling's experience proved to be a key in Ole Miss' run to the CFP semi-finals. Stribling was a sixth-year player who redshirted during 2020 before becoming a key piece at Washington State. He was Cam Ward's primary receiver in 2022 before hitting the portal for Oklahoma State. An injury robbed him of 2023, but he bounced back to lead the Cowboys in 2024. Stribling struggled to make an impact early with Ole Miss, but down the stretch, he became a big-play threat, peaking with a 7-122 game against Georgia in the CFP.
Stribling offers good length and underrated speed as an outside receiver. He plays with patience and pacing that allows him to catch defensive backs off guard when he opens to top speed. He plays well through contact, though he is not the type of receiver who will bring physicality to a defensive back. His experience shows in how he manipulates defensive backs. Stribling understands the position; he is a willing blocker who chips inside and releases as a target. His consistency showed in his low drop rate. Stribling is the type of Day 3 receiver who delivers a solid career in rounding out a receiver room.
Rundown
Stribling is an experienced receiver who is often underrated athletically. He shows a high level of defensive back manipulation and is a willing blocker, making him a solid depth piece for most schemes.
