Looking to dominate your office pool this season? 19 Footballguys.com staff members are here to help you out. Each week they will pick the winners of every NFL game, and rank their selections based on how confident they are that the team will win. The most confident pick gets 16 points, and the least confident gets just 1. We'll even total up everyone's picks so you can get an 'overall consensus' on who our staff think will be the most likely winners. Each week we'll announce the weekly winners, and track the overall record for the entire season. A couple of things to note before we get to the picks:

  • Picks for this pool are straight up (no point spread considered). 
  • Picks are due on Wednesday nights, and may not reflect any late-breaking news. If your league allows for last minute changes, please make adjustments to your office pool accordingly. 
  • Our staffers also play in weekly picks Against The Spread, and Survivor Style 'Pick one Winner each week' formats as well. Check out the other weekly articles for more help with those type of games. 

RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK

A good week for most of the board, and for the second time in three weeks, the weekly winner came down to a tie. Both Pasquino and Brimacombe has 12 correct picks and both only missed six total confidence points. But Pasquino had 44 for his tiebreaker while Brimacombe had 33. The Monday Night Football final score was Carolina 45 - Miami 21 for a total of 66 points, giving Pasquino his first win this season.  You can see from the top scores that most staffers missed only 2 or 3 games, but the confidence point allocation really made the difference.

Chicago was the only 'big' upset of the week, with most of the board losing a few points on the game. Only Wood and Knotts correctly picked the Packers to upset Chicago, but no one really lost or won a ton of points here. 

OVERALL RANKINGS

Although Brimacombe narrowly missed his third weekly win of the season, his tie for the top spot allowed him to extend his overall lead. He now has a comfortable 24 point lead on the rest of the leaderboard.

HEAVY FAVORITES

Pittsburgh may not have the most confidence points this week, but they still are a unanimous choice to beat the Titans this evening. Jacksonville, New Orleans, and Kansas City were also picked by the entire staff. Detroit, New England and Philadelphia are also strong favorites to win their respective games this weekend. 

DUAL SUPPORT

Arizona is a slight favorite to beat the Texans this weekend, but with just 56 total confidence points on the game, it is easily one of the least confident games we’ve had all season. Baltimore at Green Bay is almost even, there are a few more points on the game overall. Miami, Minnesota, Denver and Seattle all have at least 68 confidence points on them, but all four games have less than 100 total confidence points. If your office pool allows you to weight the contests as our does, you may want to move these games toward the bottom of your board.
