Ja'Kobi Lane was a late riser in the recruiting world after he earned wide receiver MVP honors in the 2022 Elite 11 camp. He played sparingly as a true freshman on a deep 2023 USC squad headlined by Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice before stepping up as the starter opposite Makai Lemon in 2024 and 2025.
