Brock Bowers

Bowers had a slighly down year compared to his sensational rookie year. The Raiders now have a new coach, quarterback and skilled position players. Bowers should still be the centerpiece of the receiving game and be one of the elite players at his position.

Will Klink Kubiak do with Bowers what he did with Jaxon Smith-Njigba last year? It's worth a second round pick to see in PPR leagues.

Bowers is primed for a bounce-back season as the clear top target in Klint Kubiak's new Raiders offense, where a healthy return from last year's knee injury gives him overall TE1 upside. 

Bowers is the most physically talented receiver and runner at the position. He could easily deliver the best fantasy production at the position this year. 

The ifs surrounding his potential to deliver this production holds him back on my board. Bowers is working with another new scheme and he'll likely work with two quarterbacks during the year. 

Kirk Cousins is a smart vet but with an aging body. Fernando Mendoza is a smart rookie, but inexperienced against NFL defenses and the offensive systems demanded of pro passers. 

While the Klint Kubiak offense should benefit Bowers, is the offensive line good enough to give Bowers that extra edge to earn value that puts him above McBride and Loveland, who are dealing with fewer changes? 

I'll be excited to have Bowers on my squads, but he's not the safest of the three. 

Bowers' pairing with HC Klint Kubiak allows the imagination to consider a record-breaking season after Kubiak's impact on Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
