Swift is having a reasonable fantasy season, but Kyle Monangai is posing a threat to his playing time. I am not sure either is part of Ben Johnsons long term plan for the team. Swift is contracted for next season, but the team could save considerable money by releasing him. In Chicago as prominent back, he has value. As a free agent. Very little.

D'Andre Swift finahed as RB19 in PPR leagues last year. He is now the RB1 on a Ben Johnson offense. Their isn't any notable competition on the depth chart to challenge Swift for touches. He has a realistic shot at finishing as an fantasy RB1 for the first time in his career.

Chicago Bears RB D'Andre Swift rushed for 90 yards on 21 carries against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11.
Week 11 injury report for Bears
Chicago Bears LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring, hand) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 14, and has been ruled out for Week 11. WR Jahdae Walker (concussion) was limited during practice but has been ruled out. S Jaquan Brisker (back) and CB Jaylon Johnson (groin) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. CB Josh Blackwell (concussion), S Kevin Byard (non-injury), LB Ruben Hyppolite II (knee), DT Grady Jarrett (non-injury), TE Cole Kmet (back), WR DJ Moore (shoulder), WR Rome Odunze (ankle), DE Dominique Robinson (ankle), CB Tyrique Stevenson (shoulder), RB D'Andre Swift (hip) and OG Joe Thuney (non-injury) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
