Expected to be a placeholder for the Bears, Swift had his best year to date. But I can't shake the feeling he is keeping the seat warm until the Bears find their Jahmyr Gibbs. With Kyle Monangai playing well the threat comes from within this year.

Swift was RB21 in PPR formats in 2022, playing the 1B role to David Montgomery's 1A with Ben Johnson as his OC. He was RB14 last season as Johnson's lead back. 2026 is a contract year for Swift, 27, so a heavy workload is likely. Beyond that, he'll be 28 and potentially on a new team.

Bears RB D'Andre Swift (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice after being held out of an earlier session this week.
D'Andre Swift carries no injury designation for Week 4; Caleb Williams out
Bears RB D'Andre Swift has no injury designation for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Jets. QB Caleb Williams and OL Braxton Jones are ruled out, and S Cam Lewis is doubtful after not practicing on Friday. DT Shemar Turner, LB Noah Sewell and CB Kyler Gordon, all on the PUP list, were full participants in practice.

Bears QB Caleb Williams has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Jets, head coach Ben Johnson said on Friday, though the team did not announce a starting quarterback.
Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell, Mason Taylor ruled out for Week 4 at Bears
The Jets ruled out RB Breece Hall (quad), WR Adonai Mitchell (finger), TE Mason Taylor (thumb) and G Dylan Parham (knee) for Sunday's Week 4 game at the Bears. On the other side, Bears RB D'Andre Swift was added to the injury report with a knee injury and did not practice.
