The Patriots say they have big plans for Douglas in the slot this year. That tells us rookie Kyle Williams and Kayshon Boutte are likely competing for targets at split-end and either option may handle the flanker role if Stefon Diggs isn't ready to begin the year.
Look for Drake May to deliver an even three-way split in targets to Douglas, Williams, and Boutte, but with Douglas earning the high-percentage work with the lowest yardage return.
