When he's healthy, Overshown has demonstrated legitimately elite fantasy upside--he was seventh in points among linebackers after 13 weeks in 2024 before he tore his ACL for the second time in as many years. He spent most of last season rehabbing that injury. Overshown could realistically open 2026 as the 'green dot' LB in Dallas. But his lack of durability just can't be ignored.

DeMarvion Overshown expects big year
Dallas Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown (knee) said he is excited to enter the 2026 season fully healthy. 'So the fact that I get to go through the full offseason as a healthy man and coming into training camp healthy, I feel like people ain't seen my best yet,' Overshown said. 'So I know it's going to be one of my best years.'

Dallas Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown (knee) said that he is completely healthy and is no longer wearing a knee brace. He missed the bulk of the 2025 season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament, a torn medial collateral ligament and a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
