Erick All Jr. tore ACL again; Taylor 'not nervous at all' about using Jack Endries
Bengals TE Erick All Jr. suffered his third ACL tear in his right knee in the last four seasons in last Sunday's win over the Ravens, head coach Zac Taylor confirmed on Wednesday. "It's awful for him," Taylor said. "He's been through this a couple of times before." With Tanner Hudson (pectoral) also lost for the season, rookie TE Jack Endries and TE Cam Grandy will have to "pick up the slack," and Taylor said of Endries: "I'm not nervous at all about using him. I think he's earned the opportunity."
Bengals place Erick All Jr. on IR, bring back TE Cam Grandy
The Bengals officially placed TE Erick All Jr. on injured reserve with a knee injury on Tuesday. Cincinnati brought back TE Cam Grandy to the 53-man roster from the Vikings' practice squad.
Zac Taylor needs 'more information' before commenting on Erick All Jr.'s knee
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said on Monday that the team will need to get more information before making any comments on TE Erick All Jr.'s knee injury.
Erick All Jr. runs Hudson's routes; Casey expects him to 'take off the rest of the year'
Bengals TE Erick All Jr. ran some of the routes usually reserved for Tanner Hudson and Mike Gesicki at Monday's practice, the first since Hudson was lost for the season with a pectoral injury. "He's a really talented receiver... We haven't scratched the surface on what we can do with him as a blocker and a receiver," tight ends coach James Casey said, adding, "now I'm looking for him to take off the rest of the year... Maybe he can capitalize on some of the opportunities Tanner had." All has caught five of six targets for 30 yards on 103 snaps this season after missing all of 2025 with an ACL injury, and he says there are no issues with his knee. Head coach Zac Taylor said replacing Hudson will be by committee, with Gesicki, WR Colbie Young and All among those who can fill the void.
