Jameson Williams

Jameson Williams proved a lot of his doubters wrong with his first 1000 yard season and a 10th fantasy ranking. His big play potential entices fantasy managers in 2025 and further improvememt can be expected. The downside is he only had one game with more than five catches and that was the final regular season game of the year. Ranked well below what he could achieve

The Lions media and staff are hopeful about what they see from Williams last year and this spring. If that comes to fruition in 2025, Williams could become a speedier version of Puka Nacua.

The lone concern is Frank Ragnow's retirement. If the All-Pro center leaves a large hole in the offensive line, we might see the vertical passing game struggle in Detroit. 

Right now, I'm giving the Lions the benefit of the doubt. Look for Williams to earn 900-1,000 yards and 7-9 scores. 

He had five touchdowns of 50+ yards last season, including the postseason. He's an electric athlete who offers speed and dynamic yards after the catch ability. He just went over 1,000 yards on just 91 targets and 58 catches in 15 games last season. He's a talent to bet on, especially in half PPR scoring leagues.

We have to at least consider that the Detroit offense could take a step backward after losing OC Ben Johnson. While Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown feel safe, the same can't be said for Williams. He is already a boom-or-bust player, and there could be fewer boom weeks.
