WR Kevin Austin Jr. elevated from practice squad
The New Orleans Saints elevated WR Kevin Austin Jr. from the practice squad for their game.
Banks Jr. placed on IR with ankle injury; Etienne, Young limited in practice
John DeShazier of Saints.com reports that the Saints placed LT Kelvin Banks Jr. on injured reserve with an ankle injury and signed long snapper Cal Adomitis, the team's third long snapper in as many games after Zach Wood was hurt and Scott Daly was signed away by the Bears. On Wednesday, RB Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring), S Jonas Sanker (knee), DL Nathan Shepherd (hip) and edge rusher Chase Young (calf) were limited in practice, while WR Barion Brown (hamstring), CB Martin Emerson Jr. (shoulder) and DL Christen Miller (toe) did not practice; LB Isaiah Stalbird (shoulder) was a full participant. QB Tyler Shough, who leads the NFL with 662 passing yards, has directed strong fourth-quarter comebacks in each of the Saints' first two games this season.
Olave, Young make trip to Baltimore despite questionable tags
Saints WR Chris Olave, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, traveled with the team to Baltimore on Saturday for Sunday's game against the Ravens, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. Underhill also reports that DE Chase Young, who is dealing with a calf injury and is also questionable, made the trip. New Orleans elevated WR Kevin Austin Jr. from the practice squad on Saturday, the same move they made in Week 1 against the Lions. Long snapper Scott Daly was also called up for Sunday's game.
