Myles Montgomery

Montgomery is one of the most underrated RBs from the 2026 NFL Draft class. He's an excellent processor of information between the tackles, and he displays the footwork to execute solutions that he spots. 

Montgomery has starter speed and acceleration, he catches the ball effectively, and he's the best pass protector I saw on this class. New England paid a lot of money to Montgomery as a UDFA, which is an indication he'll compete for one of the last two spots on the RB depth chart. 

If draft capital isn't a biased factor in the decision, I'd bet on Montgomery opening the year as the Patriots' RB3, which puts him a play away from a significant role in the offense and potentially fantasy football.
