Julian Love limited in return, Ty Okada out, 'a chance' Charbonnet practices Thursday

Seahawks S Julian Love (calf) was limited at practice on Wednesday after missing the Week 3 loss to the Commanders, and it remains unclear whether he will be cleared for Week 4 against the Chargers. S Ty Okada (hamstring) was the only non-participant and has not practiced since the start of the regular season, while RBs Jadarian Price (chest) and George Holani (rib) were limited. RB Zach Charbonnet, still on the PUP list without his 21-day practice window opened, was not listed, but head coach Mike Macdonald said "there is a chance" he can practice on Thursday.

Julian Love to practice in 'some capacity', Charbonnet window decision still pending

Seahawks S Julian Love will practice in some capacity on Wednesday, head coach Mike Macdonald said, while S Ty Okada will not practice. The team still has not decided whether to open RB Zach Charbonnet's 21-day practice window from the PUP list, though Macdonald said that could still happen this week.

Sam Darnold off final injury report, Julian Love and Ty Okada out vs. Commanders

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold is not on the final injury report and will start Sunday against the Commanders, head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed on Friday. Darnold missed almost all of the Week 1 opener against the Patriots and all of Week 2 against the Cardinals with a glute injury, and QB Drew Lock returns to the backup role. Seattle will be without both starting safeties: S Julian Love (calf), who had interceptions in both games this season, has been ruled out after his calf tightened up in practice, and S Ty Okada (hamstring) is also out, leaving S Rodney Thomas II and CB AJ Finley as the starting safety tandem. DE Brandon Pili (concussion, neck) is questionable, while the Commanders have ruled out TE Chig Okonkwo, G Sam Cosmi, LB Frankie Luvu and S Nick Cross.
