Tyrone Tracy Jr. a likely Week 1 inactive?
The odds of the Giants keeping four running backs active for Sunday night really don't make sense. This position might, in fact, be one where injury comes into play. Tyrone Tracy Jr. was still dealing with the stinger he suffered against the Jets in the preseason finale, so it's unknown at this time how much he'll be able to do in the coming week.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. expected to have big role
New York Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. is expected to have a sizable role in the backfield. While RB Cam Skattebo is expected to see slightly more than half of the carries, Tracy is valuable not only in the run game, but for his hands. In terms of all-purpose yardage, he has two 1,000-yard seasons in his first two NFL seasons. He is also expected to be in the mix for work on kickoff returns.
