Singletary runs for 41 yards, one TD in win over Texans
New York Giants RB Devin Singletary ran 5 times for 41 yards and a touchdown and also caught 3 passes for 14 yards on 3 targets in Sunday's 27-21 win over the Houston Texans. He was projected for 3.3 fantasy points (half-PPR) and finished with 13.0.
Skattebo plays 6 snaps in 'clearly an altered rotation', Singletary leads Giants RBs
Giants RB Devin Singletary led the team's backfield with 29 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Saints, followed by RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. with 26, RB Najee Harris with 11 and RB Cam Skattebo with six.
J.J. McCarthy active vs. Cardinals, Singletary inactive with Tracy as third RB
Giants QB J.J. McCarthy is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, though it is uncertain whether he will be the No. 2 or No. 3 quarterback. The Giants elevated QB Jake Haener and DE Trace Ford from the practice squad, so they will carry three quarterbacks. Earlier in the week, offensive coordinator Matt Nagy said getting McCarthy ready "is not going to happen in one or two days" and that the team would judge "where does that take him as a number two or number three." RB Devin Singletary is inactive, with RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. serving as the third back.
Brian Burns active, Devin Singletary inactive after 'getting squeezed out by numbers'
Giants DE Brian Burns is active for Sunday's game against the Titans. CB Deonte Banks and S Tyler Nubin are inactive with calf injuries, while RB Devin Singletary is a healthy scratch after "getting squeezed out by numbers." TE Thomas Fidone II, OL J.C. Davis, DL Bobby Jamison-Travis and DL Josh Tupou are also inactive.
