After a breakout 10.5 sack campaign in 2024, Will McDonald picked up where he left off, getting home for two sacks against Pittsburgh in the season opener. McDonald played 31 defensive snaps (55%), trailing only Jermaine Johnson (50 snaps) among the Jets’ edge unit. It was a nice start for Haason Reddick with his new team. Reddick (60 snaps/79%) held a solid workload, producing three tackles (1 solo), one tackle for loss, and one sack. Reddick showed he still has plenty of juice in the tank, generating eight pressures against Atlanta, per PFF. If you’re looking for edge help, Reddick is an excellent target if available off the waiver wire after his Week 1 outing.
