Staff Eliminator Picks, Week 7

Footballguys Staff's Staff Eliminator Picks, Week 7 Footballguys Staff Published 10/21/2021

This has been a very popular feature, so this year Footballguys once again is presenting the Eliminator Pool Challenge, where staffers have to pick a team to win each week.

Just one? That sounds easy, but here is the catch – you can only pick the team you choose in a given week once all season long.

Many contests and pools out there get pretty big, so an Eliminator (or Survivor) Pool can go 18 weeks.

Here are the specifics:

  • It lasts until one person is alive
  • Pick one winner per week
  • If you are correct, you stay alive
  • If you are wrong, you are eliminated
  • If you miss a week, you are eliminated
  • You can only use each NFL team once
  • If all of the people still alive lose, those people come back the following week
  • When one person remains (this person is the champion), the game will restart for fun

Notes

  • People with a blank selected a losing team and have been eliminated.
  • People marked with an "X" missed the pick deadline that week and have been eliminated.
  • One person had to drop out due to time constraints and has been removed

Last Week's Results

Last week was pretty uneventful. The closest game was Kansas City beating Washington 31-13, so everyone coasted to easy wins. With six teams on a bye, will Week 7 prove to be more difficult?

This Week's Picks

Out of 11 selections, only four teams were named:

  • Arizona - 6 picks
  • Green Bay - 3 picks
  • New England - 1 pick
  • New Orleans - 1 pick

With two staffers (Tefertiller on the Patriots and Bonnema taking the Saints) going solo, there's a chance the contest will end this week.

Home vs. Road

  • Home picks
    • 3 teams (Arizona, Green Bay, and New England)
    • 10 picks total
  • Road pick
    • 1 team (Saints)
    • 1 pick

Good luck this weekend!
