It's fantasy championship week! The market is more crucial than ever before. These decisions quite literally can determine your season. So, what to do? Do you take the risk on a penny stock, expecting the breakout in the week you need it most, or do you go with your Fortune 5 stock that has carried you this far for just one more solid week? This is where we make the money, where we gather our courage to trash-talk one final time to carry us to the offseason.  Whatever your risk tolerance, you got here for a reason, and it is best to stick to that mindset when completing your championship run. One more time, let's ring the bell!

Fortune 5

LB Jack Campbell, Detroit

Lions linebacker Jack Campbell has emerged as the premier young linebacker in the NFL this season. Three weeks into his best stretch of the season, he has delivered exceptional performances, posting 20+ points in standard scoring leagues each time. Over these three games, Campbell has recorded 42 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and two passes defended. His versatility as a do-it-all linebacker has been instrumental in elevating Detroit's defense. If you're still reading these updates 17 weeks into the season, Campbell's dominance is no surprise. By this time next year, he may stand alone as the best at his position. He is a key reason many teams remain in championship contention.

LB Carson Schwesinger, Cleveland

Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger has seized his opportunity in his rookie season, emerging as the clear IDP Defensive Rookie of the Year favorite. The 22-year-old has established himself as a must-start linebacker in IDP leagues, showcasing elite tackling ability and versatility. He ranks among the NFL's top linebackers in tackles, run stops, and other key metrics. While it's still early to match the hype around Jack Campbell, Schwesinger has far exceeded expectations and is on a short list of the best players in IDP under 25. His ceiling remains sky-high. If you drafted him, you made a savvy move; he's a major reason your team is contending for a championship.

LB Bobby Wagner, Washington

Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner is on the verge of a historic milestone, nearing 2,000 career tackles to join Ray Lewis and London Fletcher as the only players to reach that elite mark. The 35-year-old veteran has been a tackling machine since entering the league in 2012, recording at least 100 tackles in every season of his 14-year career as a starter. In Week 14 against the Vikings, Wagner posted 15 tackles. HE is now just 15 shy of the 2,000-tackle threshold. Hats off to one of the best to ever do it, Wagner remains a must-start in IDP leagues whenever he plays, adding to his secure Hall of Fame resume.

LB Blake Cashman, Minnesota

Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman is on a hot streak heading into the holidays, delivering consistent excellence since returning from injury. The veteran has been a tackling machine, posting strong numbers despite missing time early in the season due to a hamstring injury. He has accumulated a solid tackle total in limited games, making him a reliable every-down presence in the middle of Minnesota's defense. Cashman has yet to post a poor performance in recent outings, solidifying his status as a set-and-forget starter in IDP leagues. He remains the Vikings' man in the middle for years to come and a key contributor to any contending roster.

Edge Brian Burns, NY Giants

Brian Burns has been a bright spot for the struggling New York Giants in 2025. In Week 16's 16-13 loss to the Vikings on December 21, he recorded four tackles and 2 sacks, including a strip-sack that led to a defensive touchdown. This brought his season total to 15 sacks, a new career high and an end to a brief drought. Despite some inconsistency earlier, Burns remains an elite pass rusher. For fantasy managers in championship week: Start him. His sack potential is too high to bench, even on a bad team. He's a top-tier IDP edge option right now.
