Sleepers at Quarterback
Bryce Young, Carolina (at Tampa Bay) **Saturday**
Young has been up and down all season, but there's a reasonable chance that he's up in Week 18 with the NFC South title on the line. He threw for two scores and posted a solid fantasy outcome that would be acceptable this week with so many top-line quarterbacks' playing time in question. Young has also been adding more value as a runner lately, including a rushing touchdown last week.
Kirk Cousins, Atlanta (vs New Orleans) **Monitor Pitts and London Status**
Cousins' run of elite QB1-level fantasy games came to a halt last week against the Rams, but only because the Falcons opened up a 21-0 lead and controlled the game until the Rams tightened it at the end. Atlanta's offense has been revived with Cousins at the helm in recent weeks. As long as Kyle Pitts Sr. and Drake London both play, Cousins will be a viable QB1 for Week 18 lineups.
Cameron Ward, Tennessee (at Jacksonville)
Ward's most productive two weeks as a passer have been the last two, with at least 228 yards and two scores in each game. He'll be able to let it all hang out as the Titans play spoiler against the Jaguars. Jacksonville needs a win to secure the AFC South title, and their offense should have no trouble building a lead at home and encouraging Ward to play risk/reward football, which could be good for his Week 18 fantasy prospects.
Trey Lance, LA Chargers (at Denver)
The Chargers announced early in the week that Justin Herbert and likely some other starters would sit in Week 18. Lance will get to prepare as the starter all week in a game that could make him millions in the free agent market if he shows some of the tools and acumen for the quarterback position that got him drafted #3 overall in 2021. Lance can add value as a runner, and the Chargers have two talented rookies lower on the depth chart at the wide receiver - Tre' Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith - who can make this game competitive. Herbert threw for 300 yards against Denver in the first meeting.
