Justin Herbert

In five years in the league, he has a top-10 finish four times. The Chargers may be a run-heavy offense, but Herbert knows how to move the ball and is a capable fantasy quarterback who will likely exceed his draft position. 

Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh threw the ball 7 percent less in 2024 than what we saw from the team in 2025, and the Chargers still threw the ball 5 percent more than they ran it. 

Considering the modus operandi of this duo, do we think the Chargers are going to increase their passing rate this year after signing Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton? Not if these two remain healthy. 

Justin Herbert may be capable of top-5 production as a passer, but that's not the design of this team.

Expect Herbert to have efficient production, but production that's below 4,000 yards and 25 scores as a passer and below 400 yards and 4 scores as a runner. People are ignoring Herbert's environment and wish-casting on his talent.  

Slowed by a preseason foot injury, he finished as a QB1 and set a career high in rushing yards. Coachspeak has suggested more rushing.

One of the best QB talents in the NFL, Herbert now has multiple talented receivers on the outside to draw attention away from Ladd McConkey.

There were concerns after the Chargers hired Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman. Would his upside be capped by a run-first offense? Yes, but not too badly. Herbert was still the QB11 despite the fewest passes per game of his career. He is a safe option for fantasy managers waiting on QB in their drafts.

He proved to be a perfect fit in the Greg Roman offense last season. The investment made at running back and wide receiver should help elevate him even further. With the rushing upside, he’s at least a low-end QB1 with room for more. 

The team is showing us they're willing to invest in this offense through the draft and free agency. They've added key players at important skill positions, setting up Justin Herbert for a potential career year.
