Scouting Report
Dominic Richardson began his college career at Oklahoma State, where he saw rotational usage. He transferred to Baylor, where his tenure was brief and provided no meaningful on-field production. He entered the transfer portal again in search of a clearer path to playing time. Richardson landed at Tulsa, where he found himself in a workhorse role for the first time in his lengthy college career. He totaled 1,195 scrimmage yards in 2025, sixth among all players in the AAC.
Richardson has an impressive frame with broad shoulders and a thick core, and he uses it to violently finish runs. His muscular build yielded workload durability, as he closed out the 2025 season with his two best games as a rusher. Richardson lacks dynamic play-making abilities, as his tight hips and stout legs take some time to get moving. However, he makes up for it with a borderline reckless desire to get downhill, mitigating potential losses with brute force over finesse. Richardson might need to put on a few pounds and lean into a new role in the pros, but his vigor could catch the eye of coaches and earn him an opportunity as a short-yardage back.
Rundown
Richardson is a hard-nosed runner who uses his strength and physicality to finish runs and churn out tough yards.
