We are proud to bring you the return of the Footballguys.com Staff Confidence Pool Challenge. 22 Staff members will pick the winner of each NFL game, and rank each choice from most confident (16 points) to least (1 point). As a tie-breaker, the person who is closest to the total points scored on the last Monday Night game will be the winner. Winners will be announced from week to week and the best overall record will be crowned Confidence pool Champion. Picks and ranks are due on Wednesday, so any late-breaking news may not be reflected in the choices. Also please note that no point spread is taken into account with these picks – it is a straight up pick of which NFL team will win this week. See the other confidence pools for picks against the spread (ATS) or Survivor / Eliminator style.

WEEK 11 RESULTS

Thanks to the 17 points of scoring in the final 90 second of the Monday Night game, Jeff Haseley and Maurile Tremblay tied this week with 107 confidence points. However, despite missing the Monday night game by picking Washington, Haseley hung on to the win because his tie-breaker of 42 points was closer to the combined 35 points that Washington and Dallas scored, giving him the win. Congrats to both guys. Both staffers only missed four games each, but their losses were quite different with Maurile losing the early games with Baltimore and Jacksonville, and Jeff losing Washington and Oakland. Both missed on Chicago and New England, and it cost them pretty heavily as it did the majority of the players this week. Impressive wins just the same. It wasn't a slam dunk week by any stretch.

Chicago and New England were the big upsets this week. The Patriots took down over 300 confidence points when the were upset by the Eagles at home. Washington was a heavy favorite to win the Monday night game, but there were not as many confidence points on the outcome.  

OVERALL RANKINGS

Miglio\ finished 3rd this week and might have won again if Washington had won on Monday night. He extended his lead on Larkin by 8 points this week and has an impressive 11 point lead with just four weeks go to. Larkin has a 30 point lead on Tuccitto for 3rd, so unless something drastic happens in the next week or two, it's down to Miglio and Larkin for the overall crown.

HEAVY FAVORITES

Vegas has some pretty big point spreads this week, leading to a large number of unaminous choices in the confidence pool this week. Arizona, Kansas City, Carolina, Seattle, Denver and Green Bay were all picked by every staffer to win their games and by a pretty convincine point spread. With 1649 combined confidence points, you can bet that these games will be highly weighted in your local confidence pools as well. Tampa Bay and the New York Jets were also strong choices this week, with just a couple staffers selecting New Orleans and Tennessee for the upset win.  

DUAL SUPPORT

This week, the Monday Night Football game will probably not decide who wins the weekly contest. With only 84 combined confidence points on the game, it's the lowest confidence game we have with Miami a slight favorite over the Giants. San Francisco at Cleveland and Buffalo at Philadelphia were also well under 100 combined confidence points with the 49ers and the Bills both drawing a little more support on the road.
