Scouting Report
Jeremiyah Love was a consensus four‑star prospect and one of the top running back recruits in 2023. He was a dynamic playmaker at Christian Brothers College High School and led his team to back‑to‑back state titles. As a freshman, Love immediately amassed over 500 all-purpose yards behind Audric Estime. He emerged as one of the NCAA's best backs over the next two seasons, logging 3,014 all-purpose yards and scoring 40 touchdowns. Love won the Doak Walker Award, finished third in Heisman voting, and was honored as a unanimous All-American.
Love's game-breaking speed immediately grabs your attention, but the nuance to his running is equally impressive. He excels at pressing blocks to create lanes and using a quick, powerful jab step to explode into the secondary. He can pinball off defenders at top speed, displaying elite contact balance through traffic. His churning legs allow him to slash through contact and escape pursuit defenders. Even in tight quarters near the goal line, Love consistently finishes runs and exhibits competitive toughness. Love has reliably expanded his role as a receiver, running various routes and displaying dependable hands. Love also has the willingness and technique to block, leaving very few, if any, flaws in his profile.
Rundown
Love is a scheme-agnostic offensive weapon who can handle a full workload, rip off chunk plays, score near the goal line, and catch passes out of the backfield, signaling an early three-down workload in the NFL.
