Scouting Report
Kaytron "Fatman" Allen graduated from IMG Academy in Florida, a pipeline for college football talent. He drew four-star recruit status with offers from elite programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, USC, and Florida, before ultimately committing to Penn State. Allen took control of the Nittany Lions' backfield as a freshman and led the team in carries for the remainder of his college career. In 2025, he became Penn State's all-time career rushing leader, earning All-American honors from multiple media outlets.
Allen has an incredibly thick frame, which he uses to punish defenders between the tackles and in the open field. His sturdiness helps him get into a rhythm when handling big workloads. Although first sight would lead you to believe he's a plodder, Allen consistently flashes short-area quickness and lateral shake through congested interiors. When afforded a slice of daylight, Allen has the burst to pop through for chunk gains. Penn State's offensive line gave him opportunities, but Allen maximized them with elite vision and patience. He wasn't relied on heavily as a receiver, but he has shown soft hands when necessary. While Allen might not have true afterburners, creativity and bounce as a runner allow him to consistently find big gains.
Rundown
Allen is a bruising downhill runner who excels with elite vision and patience, using a blend of power and wiggle to navigate through traffic creatively.
