The only consistent factor in the Saints offense is veteran Alvin Kamara. With an inexperienced quarterback, the team is expected to struggle and so may the numbers for Kamara. Touches will be fine, but touchdowns could be an issue.

The Saints are not expected to be contenders in 2025, but Kamara is expected to be a key contributor in the offense both as a rusher and a receiver. With little experience at quarterback, expect a lot of check-downs, which is where Kamara can best flex his fantasy muscle.

Kamara remains an excellent talent, but the Saints are rebuilding and quarterback is a massive question mark. The offensive line is banged up and lacking. The factors generate a boom-bust variance when projecting Kamara's 2025 value.
If the combination of quarterbacks the Saints will try under center can feed Kamara in space, Kamara could generate enough of a workload to deliver low-end RB1 value, even if his scoring totals are modest (6-8 TDs) for his talents.
If not, Kamara could slide to a low-end RB2, which is where I now have him. When considering how much help runners usually need to reach their respective ceilings, the receivers on the board near Kamara are likely better bets.

Continuing to deliver as a high end fantasy asset in an offense that needs him.
Ben Cummins
He'll be just 30 years old this season, and drafters should appreciate his greatness while they still can. Kamara entered the NFL as an amazing athlete at 214 pounds and has utilized his elite ability to become one of the best dual-threat running backs in league history. In eight seasons, Kamara has racked up 6,779 rushing yards, 60 rush touchdowns, 728 targets, 573 receptions, 4,762 receiving yards, and 25 receiving touchdowns.

Kamara was the RB2 before injury last year, and should be the primary weapon again in New Orleans this year.
Ryan Weisse
He is a lone bright spot on the roster. He was a Top-10 fantasy back last season and came out of the gates red hot. He should be formidable as a pass-catcher, and could even be traded to a better situation before the season is over.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara will not play in the preseason game Sunday, Aug. 10.
No TDs for Alvin Kamara in back half of 2024
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 505 yards and six touchdowns in the first eight games of the 2024 season but posted 445 yards and zero rushing touchdowns during the second half of the season. He did catch 28 passes for 236 yards and one touchdown during the second half.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara will continue to be a significant part of the running and passing game in the new offensive scheme, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
