Donovan Jackson's torn meniscus 'likely' ends season, Darrisaw in concussion protocol
Vikings LG Donovan Jackson suffered a torn meniscus in Sunday's win over the Dolphins, confirmed by imaging on Monday, and will require surgery that Head Coach Kevin O'Connell said will "likely end his regular season." Joe Huber, who played 71 snaps in Jackson's place, will step in, with O'Connell saying the team has "high expectations for Joe." LT Christian Darrisaw is in the concussion protocol after leaving the game twice, and TE Ben Yurosek and C Michael Jurgens will begin practicing off injured reserve this week. O'Connell was also encouraged by QB Kyler Murray, who completed 12 of 13 passes in the fourth quarter, saying "there was a firm feeling to his footwork and his drop and then getting through progressions."
TE Ben Yurosek placed on injured reserve
The Minnesota Vikings placed TE Ben Yurosek on injured reserve on Tuesday, September 8.
