Colbie Young limited in return to practice, says 'possibility' he plays Sunday
Bengals rookie WR Colbie Young (knee) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday for the first time since getting hurt on the first snap of his first NFL start at Pittsburgh 10 days ago. Young said there is a possibility he will be back for Sunday's game at Miami, adding, "It's been feeling great."
Higgins limited, Chase in protocol; Meyers has 'stranglehold' on No. 3 WR spot
Bengals WR Tee Higgins (abductor) is limited Wednesday and WR Ja'Marr Chase remains in the concussion protocol, head coach Zac Taylor said before practice, leaving both in the mix for Sunday's game at Miami, as is rookie WR Colbie Young (knee), who was hurt on the first snap of his first NFL start Sept. 27 at Pittsburgh. "I thought it was going to be longer term than it was... I'm not ready to declare when that will be, though," Taylor said of Young. No matter the status of Chase and Higgins, rookie WR Dohnte Meyers will get plenty of reps after a career day of seven catches for 82 yards last Sunday, with Taylor saying of his make-miss ability, "he's as close to Ja'Marr as we've probably had." S Bryan Cook (ankle) and S Kyle Dugger (quad) did not practice Wednesday, while DT B.J. Hill (Achilles), who missed the last three games, is expected back this week.
