A nagging knee injury has severely trimmed Kincaid's playing time. While Buffalo will likely monitor his workload to keep him healthy, his raw talent makes him a great bounce-back candidate if he can stay on the field.

Patience with Kyle Pitts paid off in 2025 and the same could be said to an extent with Kincaid. The Bills attacked downfield with Kincaid more often than they did in previous years.
Joe Brady's philosophy with Josh Allen has been to spread the ball around. It means Kincaid doesn't earn the contested targets another quarterback might have given the tight end.
It als means Kincaid's fantasy ceiling is capped outside the top-five candidates until further notice.

He's coming off a PCL tear and hamstring issues, the latter affecting him for two seasons now, and he always seems to have more potential than production. Kincaid averaged 10.5 PPR points per game last season, the highest of his career, which ranked 14th among TEs who played in at least 8 games. Dawson Knox is still around, too. Not much upside over his cost unless Knox misses time. The downsides are hard to ignore: injury history, lack of elite productivity, and Knox continuing to cut into Kincaid's role.

Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid underwent a proper offseason regimen, has added 10-to-12 pounds of muscle and his knee feels better after a torn PCL and hamstring issues, according to Nick Sabato of the Niagara Gazette on Tuesday, May 19.
