Stribling was considered a reach for the 49ers. Then the 49ers lost Ricky Pearsall and have a veteran Mike Evans who has been injury prone of late. Stribling has been impressive in preseason and a good start to the year puts him in a goos spot to secure a dynasty future.

I can't ignore his draft capital, which equates to opportunities to prove himself on the field. The upside is that he becomes what John Lynch thinks he can be. The downside is that he becomes what I think he will be: a straight-line route runner who blocks and gets some schemed touches, giving him a WR5 ceiling. His early-season injury is unfortunate, so resolution of his true fantasy value has to wait. Nonetheless, I'm sticking with my pre-draft eval: he's not among the top prospects in an underwhelming WR draft class.
