AFC Championship injury report for Broncos

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 23, and has been ruled out of the AFC Championship game. RB J.K. Dobbins (foot) was limited during practice but has been ruled out. TE Lucas Krull (foot) and LB Drew Sanders (ankle) fully participated in practice but have been ruled out. C Alex Forsyth (ankle), WR Troy Franklin (hamstring) and S JL Skinner (quadriceps) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. C Luke Wattenberg (shoulder) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. WR Pat Bryant (concussion) and OT Frank Crum (ankle) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Still hopeful to get Drew Sanders back

Denver Broncos LB Drew Sanders (ankle) has returned to practice, and head coach Sean Payton said Monday, Jan. 19, that the team still hopes to get Sanders back later in the year. 'It won't be soon,' Payton said. With just the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, and the Super Bowl remaining, time is ticking.
