Sampson has a scatback's frame, excellent quickness, and soft hands. If called upon to start due to injuries, Sampson could surprise as an every-down back, because he's creative, efficient, and a good reader of blocks.
Don't count on this opportunity materializing. Also count on the Browns' quarterbacks limiting Sampson's receiving upside despite having a high enough floor in the passing game to deliver bye-week hope when there are favorable matchups.
