TeSlaa has size, speed, decent hands, and the fundamentals to develop into a capable route specialist against zone and some forms of man-to-man. Think of him as a potential Chase Claypool or Kenny Golladay who could earn big weeks because opponents are preoccupied with Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and Jameson Williams, but will struggle if he's asked to be the primary option right now.

"
TeSlasa took a non-traditional path to the NFL and that throws off some of the evaluation based on college production. However, the Lions moved a lot of draft capital to position themselves to draft him, and it is very possible that Jameson Williams will play well enough this year to price himself right out of Detroit. If you knew that a year from now TeSlaa would be in that role for the Lions where would you draft him in your startups?
